You’re not alone, mate. The surreal nature of it as well as the lack of jump scares, just makes for a relaxing experience. Imagine yourself in hell, simply floating down a blood river on a raft. You’re hidden, you’re wrapped in a nap sack of something or other, and you’re just going with the current. The eels don’t care about you, the leviathans aren’t noticing you, any demons which notice you ignore you since you’re not screaming…Even the Red Goddess is saying to herself, “That one’s clever. I’ll let it have this moment a little longer, then I’m sending Vydija to retrieve the rotten bastard.” yet Vydija can’t find you, since you blend in with everything. You’re safe from *everything* and all you’re doing is listening to the distant suffering of others, comforted in the knowledge that they aren’t you. That you’re smarter than they are.
This game is pretty cool and I loved finishing the story and succubus mode. The idea of moving from one body to another to progress through rough levels is something that draws players to it and opens up possibilities. Theres another game that has this feature: OddWorld. I recommend trying it if you into this.
Wait, this was uploaded by the guy who did the soundtrack?
That’s so sick bro!
You did phenomenal work! 🔥
Don’t care what anyone says, I enjoyed playing though Agony. Just finished the main story today, and am going to play through the Succubus mode now.
ur an idiot
Late to the party, but I agree. The game has a special charm to it with all the blood, fire, demons and insanity :D
liked it too
Hell yeah I finished Agony myself and now Succubus mode. The game is a true work of art even the ambient is so nice to sleep too.
I quite liked it I just think there was more they should have done with it, like they should have made the levels way more maze like
17:48 I love the Succubus voice ~♥ Thank you so much for sharing!!
Ah ambience was great in this game. I liked it when all those humans were praising some bat like creature. Their voices sounded...interesting
"You can pluck out your eyes... you can cover your ears... you won't forget what you saw here..."
It's kind of relaxing... in a weird way.

Oddworld is a classic escapism game. Its also about you saving your fellow people from the factory you and your fellow people work there.
This is what hell sounds like.
