Corey is a real MVP on the stage. People rightfully give credit to vocalists who can do complicated rhythm parts and sing (Mustaine and even Matt are great examples) ....but look at some of the shit Corey is doing while also providing lead vocals. Not missing a note or inflection. Dude absolutely does not get enough credit for how good of a complete musician he really is. Shogun made me buy my 1st 7-string and I had some trouble figuring out a few parts of some songs and Corey messaged me some tips during this time (hell, Im pretty sure they were actively on tour when he did this) - just a hell of a dude.
one time like 2017 2018 or something matt had to fly back home mid tour for the birth of his child if i remember correct corey had to do lead vocals and all his guitar parts at some shows. that was incredible
Paolo and Matt with long hair will always scare me, showmanship-wise. Dudes were and still are absolute monster musicians, but having imagery and presence of long hair just added to the heaviness. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic.
I always think Paolo is a completely different dude with his long hair. Also holy shit Corey's screams are brutal. Can tell why Matt had to drastically change the way he sung, you can almost feel the pain in his throat the next day. Also I do miss Travis as the drummer, he wrote some great parts to some of Trivium's most memorable songs, intro to Martyr anyone?
I got to see Trivium in 2008 in Grand Rapids MI at some bowling alley. 36 Crazyfists opened for them. Such a small venue and the energy was the same as here but packed on a tiny stage. Blew my mind how well these guys were able to shred while singing and screaming.
@@sjeanes85 i like your optimism but. Matt's voice is never going to be as healthy as it was when he was younger, and that's like the main reason why Trivium already peaked
A show that I would really like to see complete is the one that was done at Summer Sonic in 2008, but during the day in OSAKA, on the SKY STAGE stage Here on TH-cam there is just a small excerpt from Kirisute Gomen
Saw these guys when they were touring Shogun. They opened for Slipknot and Coheed and Cambria... great bands but like 1/3 of the crowd booked it after they wrapped up their set. Mindmelters.
Shogun is one of the greatest modern metal albums. Banger, front to back.
It is 15 yo. Does modern still apply?
@@malzahar33😂 yes. I mean if it were 30 some years I could see this being a classic lol
How is it modern
100% agree 👍

Seeing them in 2008, 2009 was some wild stuff. Nothing can top that.
@@Martin2k17 Yeah, a much simpler time in my life with some good friends too. Feels like ancient history.

Matt and Paolo look so different, but Corey still looks exactly like Nathan Xplosion 😂
Wha-olo Pad-oletto on bass 🤩

Quando Essa Musica Lançou eu Tinha Apenas 4 anos
Let's go!
I would like Matt to return to that vocal style only on older songs 🥺
así tenes que cantar Matt! de esa manera agresiva!!
This is epic! I feel like this era aesthetics wise is like Metallica's And Justice era look - BADASS!
some day ill find a rising sun ml
Their "master of puppets live '86".
matt can you review your dean guitars signature ?
❤❤❤❤💘💘💘🤘
Wtf they didn’t play the whole song
My guess is short set time, and they wanted to play more songs
Travis?
What's the point to reupload the already exist footage, unless you upload something new
It's Matt himself or the team wtf
Meaty😊
у Мэта и Паоло шевелюра еще была😀
