We purchased this treadmill directly from Nordic Track along with the extended warranty a little over a year ago and it’s done nothing but disappointment. The treadmill was making an awful noise and my wife contacted Nordic track they diagnosed the noise over the phone and said the motor was no good. They mailed us the new motor and I had to install myself (I’m not by any means a treadmill service technician). A few months later the treadmill started making a similar noise but much louder than before. Again all Nordic Track does for extended warranty is tell you what to try on your own. This treadmill was less than a year old when we started having issues. For the price it was a huge let down.. prior to this we had an inexpensive treadmill from Sports Authority that lasted 13 years at a much cheaper price.

NOTE: This product works exactly as described. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(canyoutalk)  to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

This is a great review. I bought one yesterday and it should arrive within a few weeks. But now I'm totally excited to get it going!. The google maps feature is insane. @@janellenelson5162 Well, I've logged in my first month with my new treadmill and it's seriously the best thing ever! I was too intimidated to go into the iFit sessions so I have been using it manually just to get started. I did my first iFit workout last week with Daniel Grey and I'm kicking myself for not starting sooner! The 1st workout with her was hard but I did it and I'm going to do all 8. I honestly felt a sense of pride completing it and I liked that I could get that feeling inside my own home. I haven't felt that since the gyms closed. There are so many things to choose from in iFit that am literally just scratching the surface. And I was worried that my neighbors would complain about the noise but it's not an issue! So upgrading to this model was a wise choice. I chose to set it up myself. The delivery guys left it at my from door and I needed help getting it into the apartment (ground floor). The package is huge and heavy so I'd get all the help you can afford. Moving after it's assembled is simple. The treadmill itself is so advanced! The speakers are legit! The fans really work, and the interactive screen is pretty awesome. I'm gonna see if I can use it with a small flat screen TV mounted to the wall in front of it. That would be even better! It's only been a month and I about to dive deep into this. If you're thinking of getting this and can afford it, DO IT! It evens looks beautiful when it's folded and just sitting there! lol

    • @BestTreadmillReviews
      @BestTreadmillReviews  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@stevenmayo9636 If you paid for white-glove delivery and setup then a rep will be setting up the treadmill for you, but if you didn't add that to your purchase you will need to assemble the treadmill yourself. They are't too tricky or technical to setup. Our biggest piece of advice for putting treadmills together is to be careful of the wires when you are connecting everything. It's easy to pinch wires and that can cause issues down the road for your machine. If you have any other questions about assembling your machine, let us know, we're happy to help.

So you said without the ifit subscription you can run up to 50 different pre loaded workouts. But their website says you can only use their manual mode without any special workouts if you dont have ifit. The contradictions are worrying me, and have me on the fence between this and the proform. Love your review!

    • @BestTreadmillReviews

Hi Andrea, thanks for checking out our review. Sorry for the confusion, we hope this helps clear some things up. When you turn on the 1750, it takes you to an iFit login screen. If you have an iFit account you can sign-in and start using the iFit workouts. If you don't have iFit you will click the button on the screen that says, "continue without signing in". This will still take you to an iFit screen because the 50 on-board workouts are through iFit. You don't have to pay for a subscription to use these and they are included when you purchase the treadmill.
You can also use the treadmill on it's own if you just hit the start button, you can do your own workout that way.
Also, ProForm and NordicTrack treadmills both use iFit so similar things will happen for both treadmills. Please let us know if you have any other questions and if there is anything else we can help with. Lastly, if you'd like to support our channel and save a few dollars on your treadmill purchase, use our link the description. Thanks!

I checked with Nordictrack on this and as of Jan 2021, the 1750 does NOT come with preloaded workouts so only manual mode is available without internet access and an iFit subscription. Thanks for watching! There are 40-60 onboard workouts that you will be able to use through the iFit platform on the treadmill. You won't need to have an account or sign-in or anything like that but it is still through the iFit platform so you will need to connect your treadmill to the internet. There will be several filmed iFit workouts that you can do, these will change periodically. And then there are just chart workouts where you just see a track and the treadmill will adjust your speed/incline to go through the workout, and I believe there are a few Google maps workouts included as well.
If you don't want to connect your treadmill to the internet you will still be able to do a manual workout where you see your metrics and a track. Let us know if you have any other follow up questions, thanks!

@@BestTreadmillReviews I purchased the treadmill on an Air Force base today. I was just trying to figure out some information in regards to maybe how it compares to the 1750 and if anyone had some experience with this treadmill. Oddly enough, I couldn't find much on it anywhere. I ended up calling NordicTrack and all they were able to tell me was that the Elite 5760 was a 2018 model that it was very similar to the Commercial 1750 and only used less wattage. They also stated it was a model typically sent to specific retailers. Thanks again for responding, I just hope it's at least somewhat similar in quality to the 1750.

@@guantanamojay6331 Okay, we found it online at Sears as well as Scheels online. NordicTrack will often send certain models to stores such as Costco or Scheels or also in this case Sears, and then sell other machines solely on their website. The only issue is that we are seeing conflicting information on Sears website compared to Scheels. Overall though, it looks to be very very similar to the 1750, belt size is the same, screen size is the same, they both have Runners Flex cushioning. It looks like the 5760 only has a 12% incline max where the 1750 has a 15% incline. One website is saying it only has a 3.0 motor and another is saying it has a 3.8, so that's where we are confused. The 1750 has a 3.75 so either way, you have a solid motor that should last you a while. Seems like you got a good machine as long as nothing seems to be wrong with it, did you purchase it used?

I wholeheartedly agree with Tracy Panus below - extremely disappointed with this product - but most of all HIGHLY disappointed with this lack of customer support from this company.
There is very little on the electronics functionality that works for you if you don't buy into the subscription to iFit.
The machine itself functions well enough, but you need to use it only as a very very basic treadmill.
The so-called extra's that you ultimately are paying for are completely useless unless you buy into their iFit ecosystem.
    1)
Ever since I got Commercial 1750, the USB port causes the machine to hang - every-time! I called customer service about - they had me do a whole bunch of “resets” etc but nothing changed.
    2)
The Bluetooth will only connect to their iFit chest strap - NOTHING else
    3)
The HDMi port (above, and behind the screen, just beneath the USB port) has NO functionality.
Ok, so I don’t have to have the use of these - I just hooked up other equipment around the treadmill to satisfy any of these needs.
    4)
But the worst issue for me (which may be small for others) is that the speaker grill (that wide curved silver shape in the video above), began to RUST after 6 months. SIX months!!!! - thats how cheap the finishes are on this treadmill. I emailed customer support and was told they don't fix this, and this is a component that is not under warranty (I have all these emails in case anyone is interested in reading them, from some guy called Barnett). (
SO, no help on replacing a component that rusts in 6 months.
But ever since then, hey BOMBARD me with emails to pay an additional $189.00 for a "Preventative Maintenance" Service!!!
I can honestly say it is a dreadful company in my opinion - and VERY badly mismanaged.

I just bought the 1750, and from all the research I did, it came out on top. However, an hour after buying it, I saw this web site add for the 1750. When I opened it, it was an advertisement for the 2019 updated features. One was the 10 inch screen, the older model had a 7 inch screen, and the other was a tablet holder that swivels. So I immediately called Nordic track to make sure that I was getting the updated version, and they assured me that I was. They told me that the 10 inch screen was part of the order for me. However, the tablet holder would cost me extra. After a long conversation, and I might add, a rude one from the man on the phone, it was determined that all I would get as an update would be the 10 inch screen. I was sort of fine with that, but he sure made me feel that I was an idiot for even thinking that this would still be offered since the ad was placed on 12/4/2018. Isn't it typical to advertized for the 2019 model a few weeks before the new year begins? I am writing the title out in case you wanted to see for yourself. Just copy and paste it into youtube, and it should appear at the top of the page. "Nordictrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill Updates for 2019 - See What's New!"

It took weeks to get a replacement, but they did eventually send me a new one. I was able to replace it myself. A few weeks later and the control board has died...I'm sure it will take several more weeks to get this resolved. This machine had issues almost immediately...screen blanking out, software updates hanging up machine, other software issues. Ifit is a ripoff that keeps on taking. Save yourself some aggravation and get a Sole - I've had a few over my life and they eventually wore out, but never had a problem within the first 3 years.

Excellent review! I just received my Commercial 1750 today and love it. I dug into the interface in manual mode and found 60 total programs, although only 25 are videos and another 2 or 3 are sample videos. The rest are interval, speed, calorie burn, etc. with only graphical displays and statistics. I had to run the app update first to be able to access any of the videos in manual mode, but once I did that, it came alive. Did you experience a similar situation with a limited number of video workouts and much more graphical display workouts in manual mode?

No tv, also NO wifi at home and you get NO workout display...only manual display. So what she shows is NOt what you get at home.

Totally agree. Lots of plastic parts that flex and don’t always align. Best advice is to insert all the screws before tightening, then tighten everything down before proceeding to the next step (except the base/uprights, that don’t get tightened down until the very end).
I guess that for the $$$, the quality, fit and finish are acceptable. I checked another brand made in USA of mostly steel...close to $6K! Probably worth it, but I’ll see if I’m still using this after 2-3 years. If yes, that brand may be a great/lifetime investment.

      How do you like it?

@@sarahr.miller6879 My wife absolutely loves it! I thought iFit was a gimmick, but my wife can't wait for her next "adventure"; walking, hiking or running all around the world. I've heard the renewal fee is steep ($400?), but the motivation is worth it. Just wish the American version of the 1750 had a video out, so we could connect a bigger flat screen TV.
So far, the machine is holding up well to my wife's 30-45 minute per day workouts. She is under 175 lbs. It seems to handle my 250+ lbs OK, but I don't use it often because if I broke it, my wife would be very unhappy. Ha!

@@sarahr.miller6879 Great! Hope you like it, too.
Had a friend order a NordicTrack treadmill around the same time. It was a $650 version. Looked kinda the same. It wasn't. Though rated for 300 lbs, it could not handle his 220 lbs.
So, the "commercial" versions are a better choice, it would appear.

I don't like ANY machine, program, company, system, etc. where you are AUTOMATICALLY charged unless you go out of your way to sign out of the payment plan.

Machine system sucks. No Wifi, no system ON-boardworkouts... You only get manual no workouts display at all... Machine takes 4-5min to load and turn on. Lot of pro with incline at first-now fixed by actual technitian that had to visit. Not worth $2,400. Sears..😡

DO NOT BUY! I had to replace my running deck 2 times since original purchase. The speaker covers rusted out from sweat.
