The E.III used wing warping to control roll instead of actual ailerons. For controlling the speed of the engine there was a fine (mixture) adjustment and a "blip" or cutout switch which turned the engine on and off. It was a very effective plane as it was the first to be fitted with a machine gun that fired through the propeller.
To roll the plane used wing warping instead of ailerons, which changed the shape of the wing itself to reduce or increase lift on either wing, allowing it to roll. To control the RPM of the engine, you change the ratio of air to petrol. See? No ailerons or throttle needed! :D
I love the Career mode. Gives me some chances to record awesome kills and dogfights. :) So far, Esc.SPA103 is my main Flight group I do this in, next to 103rd Areo
im currently using a dumb ol' xbox controller...with the twin toggle sticks. works great actually - of course i'll have to get a force-feedback flightstick, but it's still an amazing sim with THIS current setup (i set the 2nd toggle to free-look)

Great video! Love the Eindecker!
Oy, that Nieuport would be a tough kill for even the most seasoned of E.III pilots! Congratulations on bringing her down!
This vid convinced me to buy the Eindecker
It's the soundtrack to the movie Der Rote Baron
I don't think I've played this game without the Red Baron soundtrack playing :P
Well done. Just learning this plane myself.
Wonderful!

@MRoesterreicher1 No ailerons, no throttle, no problem...
It can be done. You can use a mouse or hat switch to look around.

This is one of the early First World War mono planes.
@B1Studios He said he loved the game pretty much
What's the music? It's great!
Kyllein MacKellerann it's the soundtrack to the 2008 movie "The Red Baron"
Great music themes, lousy film.
@triumph654 Can't you read the title? It clearly says: "Rise of Flight".
3:43 Nice shot, mate! Still playing?

2:22 fucking epic
look up the sky pup it has no ailerons and also look up blip switch !
@triumph654 Why do you think that I don't know what a simulator is? I love this game :P
E3 is plane for real men :-D thumps up
looks like my phantom ultralight
what is the song used in this video?
Wow, compared to Dynamix's 'Red Baron', The Eindecker looks playable.
If you use a rudder extensively, yes... you can do many things
Sweet video :)
I wanna see a 2015 tech fokker e.iii that would be tits -- nice vid! love these planes
Some ass hole unloaded into my plane when I started to shoot at a N11. He was shoulder shooting me, and thought I was at fault. he was on my team too.
Did you install shaders or something? This graphic looks a lot better than things in game right now
No mods or anything. That’s just the base game from many years ago
Hey, what's the name of the music that first starts to play? Sounds really good.
Also, excellent flying skills, my salutations!
"The Red Baron" movie soundtrack ...
Nice gameplay jarentz. =)
I'm curious, is this the only early-war German fighter you can pilot? Or can you use the Pfalz E-series monoplanes as well?
JamesPolymer u can only use the fokker eindecker
I have the same joystick, how are you looking around so quickly with the head movements. What do you have your setting set to?
@SeRgA123456789 The TrackIR 5 is $149.95
How much do TrackIR5 costs?
would this game, be hard to play without TrackIR?
How does a gameplay look like when you are only using a joystick and a mouse?
Or simply buy the "TrackClip Pro" for about $50 and download "Free Track". Works perfect for me!
Now I want to go home an play ROF instead of working.
jarentz von Richthofen^^
I am using TrackIR, a head tracking device. Search the web for naturalpointdotcom
What game is this
The game is Rise of Flight. You can still get it on Steam. It’s rather old though, the updated version is IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles: Flying Circus.
you, sir should google fokker endicker and see what it realyy was not just look at it for a brief moment and say its a failure on th engineers part.
Is the music from the 2008 film The Red Baron? That movie sucked...
Cybermat47 Meh, it was ok.
Hey, it was better than Flyboys.
how the Heck it is possible fly a plane much less fly a plane with no aileron and throttle? LOL This is a stupidly engineered Aircraft!
Word is , not an easy aircraft to fly .
