You can also flick the FCS Gain switch to override (covered switch near the probe control). You'll lose your autopilots as long as its not in Norm, but it also deadens the stick a fair amount, similarly to the su-33's refueling fcs mode.

Hit the auto button on the right side of the right mfd after locking targets up so your radar will follow and still see them. Also with 12k lbs of fuel aboard and being 30 miles from two bandits, you need to be in afterburner burner

Smoke grenades might help but they aren't in this mission.

Well done... I fly on the 162nd PVP server every now and then. I was hoping to see myself in this fight. lol

Also another trick is using autopilot atth. This is especially important if your altitude pitch keeps changing when you reduce to apply speed. Atth autopilot makes it more stable. I tested this and took this trick from another youtube.

I've been tryna beat this on veteran for about an hour. Until I got to the trench more than a few times I started to realize i was missing somthing... I didn't know about the barrels😑

My Hornet always tends to pitch a bit down and trimming doesn't seem to do anything, Any tips? Thx

fuck this level, the level design is horrible, the gameplay is boring and has 0 direction asides from "shoot this and hope its what your meant to be doing". i wish i could just skip it :(

OMG thank you! Great game but this part just sucks. On my 20th attempt and didn't know to push the barrels. It's not intuitive at all. Was so frustrated.

Be the ball? Where did it go? Right into the lumber yard

You just gotta roll the barrels It will stop them form coming and you will be able to go ahead in the mission
