    did this awhile back. maybe you seen it from my blue accord. that hard plastic part you should cut off the resonator and jts a cleaner fit into the rubber elbow.
    also you can re use the 90 degree oem bracket to hold the plastic piece that feeds the air in too

      Nice! Didn't know you could reuse the bracket . That would be better option. Mines in the bin lol.
      It's holding up well though. No issues or noises. Definitely can cut the second chamber, what I did is make a hole at the bottom of it so it can pull air from there too. Never seen anyone reuse the stock parts I just saw res delete videos then when I did mine I thought of reusing the other parts to practically make a oem icebox

    Did you lose any low end power or does it still feel the same? Thinking about taking mine off as well, I just want to hear a little more induction sound

      @mayk3lll  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Feels better to me but that's probably placebo from the induction noise however defitely no performance loss

      @@mayk3lll thanks for the reply. I ended up just removing the rubber hose between the upper and lower box first just to see how it feels. It didn't increase the sound as much as I hoped but I agree I didnt notice any difference in throttle response or power anywhere

      @@mayk3lll for sure. Its definitely not permanent, just wanted to try it out. I think im gonna go with an injen full intake

      @@weemankyle nice! I like that it eliminates the rubber piece from the throttle body. However doing this is free and not a bad mod at all.

    Will it have the same effect to take out only elbow from intake box?

    • @mayk3lll
      @mayk3lll  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes however I cut holes into my fake grill on the bumper so it fed cold air in... good for track. Now I run a carbon dynamics intake fed to that same location

    How safe is that? It’s going to suck in all the moisture on a rainy day.

      The wheel well us pretty closed up. Just don't go driving into puddles. I've tested on rainy days. Filter is always dry
