This is a fantastic video. The two white towers at 27:33 are Clydesdale Tower and Cleveland Tower. I lived in Clydesdale Tower for ten years, leaving in 2009. I stumbled across this video by accident, and it was a surreal experience to see Clydesdale Tower again, while lying in bed in my home in rural Wisconsin, USA.

Those rooms you found were called SB1/SB2/SB3 and they were used as offices. I had a interview for a 'customer service' job there for a stretchy marketing company back in 2011.
I used to be a Lighting Engineer at Oceana, the part you "found" was the Disco room, through the double doors with the bricked up wall took you to the main room - IceHouse, the venue got seperated when it shut and was sold.. Also, the cinema IS there, you were very close, i've been in and it's huge!
Yes I went when it was Oceana the rooms were so stylish and done out to be a hi spec superclub, the Ice house room was amazing the sound system was awesome. Got a feeling the disco room was never used again once the venue was Electric and was closed off.
Used to work there, 85 Smallbrook Queensway, SB1/2 and 3 where Virgin Trains, West Coast trains, Rail Track (Network Rail) use to be. That building has been there since 1967. There used to be a nightclub at either end. This nightclub was called Oceana. The whole of that building is due for demolition and they are going to rebuild.

thats not the locano my mates grandad worked as a doorman at the locano it was the later named hummingbird then the factory and carling academy over the road from toys are us

the dome i remember it before that was called the big night out had alot of bands and comics play there ,the dome was used as a tv show with pete waterman and makala strackan called the hitman and her filmed for 1 and a half seasons there

I can't believe how lavishly they were fitted out, which maybe why they went bankrupt and were reformed as The Deltic group, who I've read have now been brought by some Danish club operator. Anyway, where I used to live in Nuneaton (also seen brilliant the ritz video) there was a very well fitted out and modern liquid and envy which was THE place to be on a weekend in the mid noughties. Luminar went bust, the building was brought by a rival club firm who put a covenant on it so it could never be used as a nightclub and it is now used as a gym. But fortunately they have kept alot of its features like the circular dancefloor and ceiling bulkhead and even the lighting rigs! Where everyone once danced and jumped around is now full of bikes and treadmills 😂
It's because believe it or not parts of the building are still in use. My Mrs works in offices in part of the building. No heating no double glazing just old and derelict. Needs to be demolished best option.
It’s an old Oceana nightclub. They went into administration around 10 years ago and many of them turned in Przym nightclubs. The ones that didn’t effectively were left to rot. All Oceana clubs are huge and cover multiple floors. You have not found a new night club they are just additional rooms which would have specified in different types of music.

Interesting to watch, but why mess with the electrics when you're there ? Flicking switches, pressing buttons, when you're not sure what they do ? If you cause a fire, you could be putting lives at risk from the people that might have to deal with it after you've left the building. Exploration shouldn't turn into vandalism.
If I remember right there was plans to knock the scala building down. Maybe they’ve changed their minds and are going to redevelop it. Oceana was part of the old powerhouse and Locarno from back in the day.
The Odeon was huge - saw ET and Ghostbusters there I think, in 1990s. Central Park in 90s had doorways that got you into Ritzy (if you were brave enough).
Huge building, those blue motors in the lift motor room were not generators but motors to power the lifts. Looked like virgin trains were a tenant in that building at some point.
The old oceana. I can hazard a guess at where you'd get in. This is the first club I managed to get into as a 15 year old 😂 . To be honest they were really fitted out to a high standard
BCC should reposess it as a long term abandoned property and refurb it as bedsits and cheap flats. They let something this massive sit empty for years but threatened to take my dads little terraced house off me when it was only empty for a year. One rule for us and another rule for businesses!
went in today myself wow what a place to explore! still looks the same although some areas have had major water leaks and so the damage has taken its toll
i worked in that office block in 1984 on the 4th floor ,called borncraft a dodgy window and garage and patio company ,they try every trick in the book not to pay anyone ,that undergound club was called zig zags in 1984 till 1989 was a goth rock and bdsm and gay nights there had purple and black carpet,same with seating area, was a great club made good money ,knew a few door staff and barstaff had live bands play there as well,yes the cinema is next door,i had a sort of mate who lived on the top floor ,of the flats over the bypass turbo express lift ,the flat had a fish tank the whole flat used to swing a foot in high winds

It's quite mad how underestimated people take them fances sometimes! I remember year ago I was getting chased and went over one luckily it collapsed as was going over on brick side the bolt's in the stone are only like 6 to 8 inches in that concrete with absolutely no grip for the bolt threads really being drilled and tapped at the tip about 2 inches! Really take care with these fences!
Been in there so many times great club bk in the day but was to many fights and a few stabbings so they closed it down as became so rough as I'm from Birmingham 👍
That's the perfect place and has the the making for a farm I so a video of 4 explorers and they went to a n abandoned place and it looked like it was just being set up and there was fresh vegetables and things.ei lost my phone on site and opened my TH-cam history and has dispeird🧐 brave guys and top videos 👍

If it's part of liquid nightclubs like on that bit at the door we used to go to one here in Scotland it closed down around 07 if I mind right but other companies kept taking them over first it was called the Circus then the London then liquid don't know if it's still open I'll need swing by in car I stopped going as much when got licence it was easier to pick up bird's in the nice cars than being blooterd some time's lol they would come to you like flies on well you know lol

Oceana was my Electrical Design and Installation as all others Throughout the Country Very Confusing Building But what a great opening night it was.
