Asus let me down. I was pumped for the ROG ALLY X, but with this scamming shits, I'm not buying anything from them. Ended up getting the Legion Go instead!
We don't know the facts , it could just be the Technician.. maybe he gets paid more per repair!! Don't know the facts . And now we have to Condemn a company because it happened one time. If it happens 1000 times... then we can be oh crap there's something wrong...these idoits want click bait and your the fish
Enjoy no freesync on legion go. Nice stutter image and low fps on 1440p. While u can think about your morals I can enjoy high fps on Ally in 1080p and freesync for no tearing or stutter :) Love asus!
@@ns-tech1304You'll like the ROG once you deal with the joystick drifting issue. Unlike the Legion Go, you can't detach the joysticks, so think about that too
my friend bought asus laptop with two screens for like 1500$+ and it stopped working after several days for no reason... I have cheap plastic and used lenovo laptop that works several years with no issues so far. So make notes.
Always get insurance when buying something expensive. I know they are expensive but it's worth protecting your investment by waiting a little longer. I trust no company to do the repairs correctly. I got the OLED deck because of the battery and using moonlight. It can handle up to Diablo 4 natively. I have a robust PC and GeForce Now for anything bigger.
One bad repair and now the whole company sucks!! Maybe it was a bad Technician... maybe he gets paid more for more repairs!! We don't know the truth....is it fair to spread rumors...when it hasn't happened to you!!!! I hope you get zero likes
😂😂😂 if you read all the evidence given and all the things done in the past and consumer reviews and all of the things gamers nexus brought to like I don’t see how you could ever come to this conclusion lol
It wasn't 'one bad repair'. This is an ongoing problem with at least hundreds of people reporting almost identical experiences, where the repair facilities try to scalp money from customers for ridiculous reasons. It isn't a 'we also noticed this damage, if you would also like this fixed here is the estimate, along with the free warranty repairs'. It is 'we are charging you this for this repair, and we will word it like a threat that if you don't accept you might get your device back in pieces'. Gamers Nexus just solidifies this whole awful business practice. THIS IS INTENTIONAL. Don't be fooled into thinking it isn't. Asus for about 20 years has dropped support whenever they could. They stopped being in favor of the customer a long long time ago. Only employees on their own backs from Asus have done anything to support things like BIOS updates (fixes/enhancements) for customers when Asus no longer wanted to do it for example.
Unfortunately, it wasnt one bad repair but it is look like the customer service policy.... May be bad maangment and forcing customer service rep to do that?
The Ally is an amazing device. The fact that the X has double the battery and better ergonomics, sign me up!
Do you plan on selling the ally before or after or keeping it?
I actually like mine. I wish Legion to go had better performance .
The ally was dope, and so I’ll likely buy the X 🔥
3 hours of battery life at 15 watts would be game changing on windows
@@joystickayrton yeah that would be something! Can’t wait for that unveiling June 2
the new Ally X with the bigger battery is gonna be a game changer. My biggest gripe with these new handhelds is the abysmal 3-4 hour battery life.
Yeah I think that’s a major reason the deck oled sold so good
You can leave the battery brick at home now 😂
@joystickayrton 900p is still too blurry for me. Just for in-game text, not the steamdeck interface.

it happens with almost every major tech company
@@ns-tech1304kinda weird comment. Well hope you don't have ANY issues or u might end up having to replace whatever the "technician" decides lol

Title: why I never buy lenovo laptop
I have all 3 my legion go broke twice 😅. Odd how we have had completely different devices. To be fair i dropped the legion go.

Yeah and at least with like whatever protection plan you typically can actually deal with someone face to face who has to respond lol
@joystickayrton Thank you for the response!
worth it? no not until windows gives us a proper handheld mode
I fully agree with that if gamepass did not exist I would only want to have steam OS on a handheld. I think it’s coming though
@@joystickayrton I have steamos on mine got
Tired of windows
Will never support an ASUS product.
Why
Completely agree at this point they’ve had lots of chances
J2cent make another video related to assus mb.... Really questionable company these days
Yeah not a big fan of them currently!
