I was looking for videos with such style - no rushing while still very interesting, giving a bit more in-depth information. I'll be watching the rest too.
Good info as always, Abi. Are you going to do video on Fushimi Inari Taisha and Nijo-jo soon ? Can't wait for it while I am researching for my trip to Kansai in March 2025.
Abi, another good idea is to make video showing travel with scenic Randen Keifuku Tram Line to visit both Arashiyama and Kinkaku-ji & Ryoan-ji. I plan to do this daily trip from my hotel in Shijo area in March 2025 so would appreciate your scenic introduction video.
With TH-cam awash with Japanese content your presentation together with interesting background information is rather unique and thus sets you apart from the many out there. I have watched numerous vlogs on Kyoto but only after watching this did I realise how much I did not know about the places you visited. Looking forward to catching up with more of your content.
I stopped eating my cake to make this comment. I think this video is so well presented; you describe many different elements with such ease. It has been a pleasure to watch your video. I'm already commenting after only watching the first 3 minutes. Keep it up!!
Your video is reeeaaally great, like, simple and relaxing style (and sound background), interesting facts explained nicely, extensive infos and details I didn't know I needed, now I'm angry at TH-cam for your videos not showing up eatlier in my feed
Hi Helen, you'll need to take either a taxi or a bus. I believe the buses at Platform B3 (outside the front of the station) will take you there. Google Maps is very useful in Japan so I recommend using that.
Thank you so much for your video! Very informative and pleasant to watch. Thanks for all the tips, too!

I would recommend to visit Kitano Tenmangu while in the area.

Omg you're so sweet! Thank you! I'm putting out a new video on another place in Kyoto next week. :) Hope you enjoyed your cake haha
Great video, full of information and personal insights. Thanks!
Thanks Scott!!
Again. Wonderful video. You mentioned cabs in the video. Any suggestions for the cab queue or applications that we can use to call them?
Uber here is excellent, all are professionals!
@@piqtourjapan Cool. Thanks so much for the info. 😀

Hi ! I wonder How much time we need to walk from the taxi drop us to the nearest Kinkaku Ji golden building?
How can we go to Kinkakuji if we come from Kyoto station.?
