GMaps routed me to Nara via Kintetsu line and it took me a solid half hour to find it! i didn't realize pass the McD and Shinkansen entrance and the shopping is ANOTHER train station! would have LOVED to have this video in Sept when i was there. Super useful, very detailed, lots of tips, I am def saving this for my future Kyoto visits

I have gotten use to your Friday uploads, but watching this I had the realisation that I will be too busy to watch next week, because that is when I arrive in Japan!!!!

I’ve gotten onigiri from that shop before! You’ve introduced a few new places. What’s the boba’s place name? Was that in Kyoto Station?

I didn't make it to the outside of Osaka Station. I walked from the Shinkansen to Midosuji Line for Namba Station... after getting lost several times.

What is the Osaka Expo?? I looked at the website last year, but I couldn't find anything that said what it's about. I will be back in the spring next year and will meet with friends in Osaka. Will this Expo impact anything? Are there any good bubble tea places left? I only saw GongCha last time I was there, and it was disappointing. It seems like the bubble tea trend ended and it's harder to find (as of last year).

I am planning a visit to both Camera Kitamura (Osaka) and Naniwa (Osaka & Kyoto) in about a week's time. I've checked out their website and they got some decent offerings. Do you know if their stock availability is in real time? As in if I am looking for a used Leica 9mm, and webstore mentioned 0 does that mean the physical store doesn't have any stock of that Leica? Also any ideas where I could find used Japanese phone cards (Teleca if i am not mistaken?)? The types that you need to insert into the public phone back in those days where mobile phones were still in some engineers' imagination

I will be traveling with 4 adults, each with one piece of luggage that is check-in size. We want to grab dinner at Kyoto Station before taking our next train to Ogotoonsen. What do you suggest? Can we bring our luggage into any of the eating places that featured in your video? Since we are only stopping for dinner, we are hoping not to store our luggage for the short duration. Thank you!

I was thinking of staying in Gion for 5 nights and making it my homebase while staying in Kyoto and doing my day trips to (Arashiyama, Nara and Osaka). What do you think?

twilight fantasy which Christmas lights event will be held on the 22nd of November,2024 in Osaka station city as well as Chistmas tree light on under Umeda sky buildinhg and ones around Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. Almost every weekend I come to Umeda,Osaka. I have come to Umeda,Osaka since I was a preschool student so I rarely get lost. Aye, Yodobashi camera store Umeda is my favourite store too. cheers

Abi, another good idea is to make video showing travel with scenic Randen Keifuku Tram Line to visit both Arashiyama and Kinkaku-ji & Ryoan-ji. I plan to do this daily trip from my hotel in Shijo area in March 2025 so would appreciate your scenic introduction video.

Tons of info. I like the info on connection of Midosuji subway to Hankyu Kyoto Line since I will use it to travel from Osaka to Kawaramachi Station.

A great reason to go to Shiga is to visit Hikone castle and garden. Platform 2, easy ride, 50 minutes- 1 hour.
