Fantastic work Rob! Simply awesome engineering. I’ll be taking mine outside and hitting them with a hammer now. Looking forward to part 2.
LOL 🤣🤣 It was your builds that inspired me to do what I'm doing now 🙂
I have to say, you are one of the best slot car builders I have ever seen. Your skills and abilities are incredible.
Wow, thank you Frank 🥰
This is a delight to watch!
You are an incredible craftsman Rob👌👍👍👍
Thank you, I'm glad you like it 🙂
Hi Rob, it’s a pleasure to see you at work! Brilliant episode, as always… I find I watch them again when I’m at the bench, the only problem is they end too soon 😩
Thank you 🙂
Amazing work again Rob, Tamiya make a Photoetch diamond file that works brilliant.
Awesome, I'll look into those, Tamiya products are great. I grew up on Tamiya RC ❤
Amazing work once again Rob
It'll be amazing if it runs well LOL.
@@SwiftSlots it might do better than you think, that flexible chassis could be a help rather than a hindrance
@@slotr High C/G, narrow tyres and only 20K motor on very tall wheels, I have my doubts, but it will be fun to see the project though and see how she does 🙂 My club have given me permission to run her on their large 4 lane club track for the track test video, so that will really stretch her legs 😀
There is no other way to say it, That was Awesome!
Thank you 🙂
Awesome Rob, great work 👍👌
Thank you 🙂
Wow rob great work so far can’t wait for the next vid 🤟🤟
Thank you 🙂
Rob seriously have you got Cad and that design software in your head or something your skills are mind blowing , I’d have had to have drawn my idea first and even then I’m sure it would be wrong and have be revised 😂😂 absolutely amazing 👌
LOL, thank you, I just see it in my mind and make it, it's the only way I can work. I do have to spend time thinking about how I'm going to go about many of the things I make, that can take minutes or weeks sometimes.
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ... a 54 year old boy screeeches !!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥💥💥
LOL.
Couldn’t say about diamond files but a diamond steel is far better than a metal one on knives
Rob,
Anything I could say would just be a mirror of all the other comments, Kudos Sir!!
That being said, I will join in by saying I am amazed at how you could see in your mind how to accomplish the conversion and create and mount the slot car drive train.
Please answer this question: how would you have removed the chassis or any other parts had they been glued in??? Or how can glued parts be unglued for removal?
TIA and Fantastic Content!!
Regards,
Jack
LOL, thank you very much 😀 Most kits only have small contact points for gluing and as long as you go slow with a sharp scalpel, most glue lines can be cut. Then on top of that, people tend to under glue surfaces, so easier to cut. Also this kit is old, and old glue tends to brake off easily. There is a little luck involved, but luck can be circumnavigate with determination.
