Sako finnlight and German made Zeiss V6..... you know how to build a good rig. I don’t know what mounts you are running on the Sako Dovetail but Talley is my favorite after trying leupold and sako optilok.
I have the same gun & caliber . Did you find your gun fussy with factory ammo ? I spent a grand on factory ammo to get a starting point to reload . A lot were 3” groups . I have it down to 3/4” with hand loads . 150 ttsx . Thanks
I don't find mine to be fussy at all, sorry to hear about your trials. Although I will say my load for the 150 tsx is probably one of the tightest groups. The gun shoots almost everything moa or better
@pauldickson1495 they are indeed! I just had mine out 2 weeks ago, took a nice white tail on the run, had two shots off in probably 3 seconds and the deed was done. I hunt with my finn almost exclusively despite a full gun cabinet.
What caliber are you shooting? I may have missed it, if given. I have this same Sako Finnlight in .270WSM with an older Swarovski 2.2-8x40 and love it. My longest shots are 400-500yds, and most are in the 250 range. I also have one in .300WSM with a Zeiss V4 4-16x50. It came with a muzzle brake, but I greatly prefer the .270 rig. It is MUCH lighter and I'm mid 60's so I'm not big on toting a load. LOL I bought the .270 used with a cheaper Leupold on it, separate from the Swarovski, but the .300 was a used package deal and I got it for a song! Less than a year old and at about 30% of cost! between both rigs I'm in for ~1/3 of retail. Patience brings good things!
Only issues I've ever had with brass ejecting has been when I really pull the bolt slowly. If I operate the bolt normally it Flys out no problem. I think most of the issues with the 85 and ejecting are with the short mags from what I've heard man.
@rainsong7327 honestly man you can't go wrong with either gun, I really like the xbolt as well- also much cheaper than the sako. I replaced my factory stock with a carbon fiber one to make it even lighter. The original stock is very comfortable but the rubberized coating isn't my favorite.
@@rainsong7327 Hey John, hope your well. The M70 extreme weather is a great rifle. I really like the CRF and stainless. Im not a huge fan of Bell and Carlson stocks which is the stock Winchester uses on the extreme weather. I have owned a couple and I find them a bit bulky but that's just my personal preference. The only draw back is the M70EW is quite heavy compared to a finnlight. Take Care!
@@rainsong7327 it's not bad. The recoil pad isn't great but they sell a bolt on limbsaver if your recoil sensitive. My finn is in a different stock all together now.

That is the only riffle I wish I kept. It was the best .270 I ever owned.

seems like a good rifle, i'm considering buying one possibly
Thank you. I am a big fan of sako rifles . I think you will be happy if you decide to buy one!

Nice shooting mate
Thanks Brother!
Hey Mike have you had any ejection issues?

@@micus09 Thanks I am stuck between the X Bolt and Finnlight in 30 06. I hear the Finnlight synthetic stock is very stiff and durable.True? Thank you

Hey mate 👍🏻
Any issues with empties hitting the scope upon ejection?
