Had my good friend Installed the new viper DS3 remote start on the wife’s 2017 Nissan Pathfinder , the car has remote start from factory with a very low range , smart start can start your car from virtually anywhere you are as long as you have signal. You don't need that bypass thingy thingy with the ds4+🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 it's built in
Because it seems like in the morning when it’s about 32° and I try to remote start it the lights turn on but when it tries to start it won’t start but when it’s about 56° or something like that it starts up all the time that’s why I asked is there a temperature thing on here thank you very much and The Viper smart starter is the best thing that I ever could’ve came across thank you Viper have a great day
No the temperature should have nothing to do with it , my wife’s starts even when it’s -10 , what kind of car do u have ?
I have that alarm. When I use the remote start sometimes it over cranks. How to fix that?

Yea the systems are different with the Nissan Pathfinder , cause the Ikey has to be in range

If I buy a new car can I transfer the same module to my new car ? Or I have to buy a whole new system ?
As long as the module is compatible, I would contact the manufacturer first
If you use your key fob to lock the door does the app update when you locked it? Or does it only update and time stamp if you use the app to lock/unlock the door
If you unlock the doors while the remote start is active the app sees it , you the remote start is not active then no .
@@PRviewsvlogs thanks for the fast reply! Are you referring to the app? Or actual remote start. So if I click the key fob to remote start, will the app do a time stamp or does the app have to be on for that feature? I’m getting the ds4 with 1 way remote installed soon and wondering wether it’s worth it to get the two way lcd remote or the Viper gps module and the subscription. I would rather use the key fob to lock the car and remote start. use the app as backup. Since I live in a small apartment complex, I want the 2 way communication if my alarm is going off.
Oh that I don’t know , I have the remote start integrated into the factory remote , so I’m talking about the app .
@@PRviewsvlogs how well does the app do with notifications if your alarm is going off? Do you ever notice a lag or no notification?
So when the car is turned on it’s immediate , I don’t install a alarm cause the car has factory theft deterrent, I do know people that have a alarm with this and he said it’s pretty much on point when the alarm sounds he get a alert right away , also remember you have to have cellular signal for all these notifications to work .
How far is the smart start range how many miles away
The range is unlimited , as long as you have cell service you can start the car , you can be in China and start the car

Hey yes the smart start pro will work with that set up. They have it set up to where u can go up to about 10 years back on the older systems making it able to work on those as well.

Almost unlimited, it works thru cell service so you can be in New York and car in LA and start it
This is not a Viper DS4+ system
Yes I know that check the last comment , the DS4 wouldn’t work on the pathfinder just to lazy to change the thumbnail , and there is no major difference between them
