I went ahead and did a few things for the PG build. Driving dunk to 86 Standing dunk down to 31, 3 PT to 85, Interior down to 44, Perimeter to 93, Steal to 72, Block to 25, Speed to 81, Strength 71, Stamina to 98, and FT to 93, Post control to 70. These are the changes I made for my build I play mostly rec and pro am.
The issue with the Jrue build is that the strength is so low that a lot of the defensive badges are capped at a bronze. The big case is with clamps. While he meets the perimeter D threshold for gold, his strength limits him to only a bronze. Honestly, seems like 2k is selling him way too short considering he is one of the better perimeter defenders this century and he only can get bronze for arguably the most important perimeter D badge.
You right. But, apparently the attributes are gonna matter more than the badges this year & the badges are just gonna be like an extra icing on the cake. So as long as the attributes are solid then we should be good

I took some inspiration from the template 60 close shot 80 layup 75 driving dunk 84 mid 83 3pt 94 free throw 91 pass accuracy 83 ball handling 76 speed with ball 58 interior 93 perimeter 88 steal 68 defending rebound 81 speed 75 acceleration 55 strength 70 vertical 91 stamina Point guard is 6"8 208 pounds with a 7 foot wingspan.
I wish 2k would release a web based builder before release. They won’t of course since that would let us make good builds which would hurt their VC sales … 😢

U can just test the build before making it there’s no excuse for ass builds just test it and the minute u see a flaw get back in the builder and tweak it to your play style idk how ya be making these garbage ass builds
The luka build is going to be really good if your playing in a squad and can post up smaller gaurds and just dominate then when the switch happens you can still dribble and score any other way.
The AD build is a sleeper. 70 3pt yes but add the heat check when joining Rise or shooting boost from Elites makes this one a sleeper. But I already knew about the P13 build 😉 truly the two I been looking at as for templates and or starting off for Sigs.
The thing about having a low 3pt is that you don't have access to the good jumpshot animations. So even with those boosts if you only have access to slow shots with bad defensive immunity it won't be as good
I really hope you don’t overestimate the boosts from joining park affiliations. The shooting will be extremely similar if not exactly the same to last year. 70 is no where near enough.
I’m happy this video is up. I believe you guys need a tier list for every position only to narrow it down a little more precisely by position it’s a decent concept but it could be way more in depth.
i’ve noticed that attributes are weighted a lot differently this year. i put the drummond build into 23s builder and it only came out to a 93 overall, but when i put in the jokic build it went over a 99. my guess is that things like pass accuracy and mid range are a lot cheaper for your player this year while rebound and block is a lot more expensive . which kinda sucks

I just hope when you have an 85+ driving dunk/layup, and the defender is on the opposite side of the basket, you don’t miss layups/dunks that wasn’t even challenged in the REC/Park. This has caused many players to quit the match, or stop investing into their builds. I don’t care to hear a defender who’s not even defending me, has a badge that gives them 20-30% shot contest, just because they’re in the area. PLEASE FIX THIS ELEMENT OF THE GAME… We are all NBA players, with a 90-99 overall. I don’t think missing layups and dunks got them there 😊
Dramond Attributes slept on I understand the hight but them attributes nice for a PF just two inches taller he guarding anybody and its all around but others wont think so cuz they not a passing big so🤷🏾♂️
I like the Jaylen Brown build a lot, very well rounded. Cade Cunningham, Zach Lavine and Michael Porter are interesting too. I would make a couple adjustments on those though.
How does swiper no swiping has only a 40 steal and he averaged 1.1 steals and Jrue averaged 1.2 steals and he has a 83 steal ball doesn’t make sense at all 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Just sucks these build templates don’t work on old gen. Most of the stats either don’t get you a 99 rating or you don’t have enough too many that you can’t get a certain rating in a specific category.
I want to be a defending big with a good block and speed. I want to push the pace. I can’t shoot so I’m not worried about that. Do you suggest I make my build? Looks like there’s nothing for defender? Or has badges become that much more expensive?
Just make your own build, Use TH-camr’s Builds & NBA Player Templates as an idea towards the right direction. Also why do you just settle for “I can’t shoot so I’m not worried about that”? How do you know?

I went with the Michael Porter Jr. build initially, then made some customizations. Lowered the finishing & shooting just a little, to add to defense.
