Also, for anyone struggling with beating any of the streetball guys, if you collect all 10 “S” posters around the city (tons of videos on the exact locations takes 3 mins) you can get Shep Owen’s unlocked as a teammate and he is a DAWG.. I think he’s only like an 84-86 but he’s better than any streetball guy you play by far. Gets steals, rim runs, catches/throws lobs, knocks down 3’s…. On my 3rd new build I used Shep as a teammate in every game and I beat all of them at every park every game didn’t have to replay 1 and I was lower lvl.

So for Guard Up i know for sure if you take shots off a hop back with any animation it triggers when you make it. It works because the CPU contest in street ball is really weak unless you're playing the daily NBA guest.

If anyone is wondering how to get guard up fast play my career on pro for fastest and easy or rookie for easiest go to any corner and time your shot doesn’t even have to be green everytime the person Gaurding you will always be right in front of you you’ll get 3-4 badges at once deadeye,guard up,corner specialist the fourth one is catch and shoot but that if you specifically are gett the ball passed to you in the corner instead of dribbling if you do a dibble move then shoot you’ll get agent 3 instead of catch and shoot and boom repeat until u max out
for anyone looking on how to level up interceptor fast, if you play rotten rodney they throw a lot of oops so if you time your steal right you can pick it off every tome

You can make progress on guard up by shooting “open” shots against taller opponents.
try to unlock the yeti, he is a defensive player but catches every lob I throw him even is it contested, he also get every rebound no matter offensive or defensive
I recommend using Rodney for the alley opps instead he’s a lot better at catching them you can run him and 5-0 at the same time

To get interceptor just play rotten rodney and sit in the paint, they will throw a lob to him every time and you jus have to click X/Square

best way to get interceptor is play Rotten Rodney. they throw a lob basically every possession. takes like 20 mins to get gold interceptor. Same with grinding to 99 Rotten Rodney is easy to beat and catches lobs a lil more consistently
How can I complete challenge of steals on a big? I have like no steal really and I gotta get 50 and it’s taken FOREVER to get 28 of them by setting computer AI into bad spots and getting bump steaks but a lot of times when I try to crash and bump my guy runs by me and the AI passes it to him wide open and I can’t get there even with chase down 😢

A tip is to go to the point get yeti and Chicago beef who are both 7 ft plus and just spam pnr oops to yeti cuz he has like 90 driving dunk and posterizes disco every play.

I have been using this method as Well, but I place myself against Alkins because he 99% of the time gets the ball at innbounds. I let him go up the court and go a little to the side to Give him clear space Then i block him when he tries to go up with it. But I also beat rotten rodney, so I chose Rodney and 5-0 as my teammates. So I just call screen with L1, cuz doesnt matter who comes to screen, they both dunking it

You would have to run this back 100 times to get enough vc to upgrade 1 single attribute like 3 point shooting- to an 80. And ur overall would still be a 64…
I don’t think this method is for getting VC, it’s for upgrading badges and getting attribute upgrades quick to be able to get to a 99 ovr since you start with a max of 85

Bro thank u so much. I got a game in december but i forgot to play it.. now i started. I created build. went to create a player and copy paste my player badges, atributes and added signature moves so i can see how my build would look like. And try it out on blacktop or play now on allstar difficulty.. but i aint gonna lie. 2k is scaming us.. our build can be max 86 ovr.. And stamina is so stupid.. AI never runs out of stamina!!!! How stupid is that?

I have 2 pretty dumb questions I’m sure. But you may be able to answer! 1.). How do you change the color of your lvl like where it displays banner? I’ve gotten to lvl 40, and lvl 95 but I see other peoples pink like yours and yellow and stuff and mine stays brown like when you first start. 2.) Where it shows the PlayStation symbol saying you’re playing on PS, what is the symbol that looks like a 2 half circles with arrows on the end? Is that PC? Or Xbox? Or previous gen or something?
Banner color is related to how often you win in online games like Rec, park, theater. The more games you win the higher up it goes. It goes black, brown, silver, gold, purple
The two arrows is cross play symbol so if you on PlayStation and see that arrow means that player is on Xbox vice versa

For guard up badge i do a triple treat move (Kobe) and then shoot it over the defender and that’s how you get it

350 vc a game, 10 games an hour, 3,500 vc an hour. 3,500 X 24hrs = 84k that’s not even enough to get 75 overall..
Yeah it can be pretty annoying but I feel like you aren’t gonna be mainly prioritizing money and it’s gonna rack up a lot faster than you think I played the game for around eight hours consistently and I got every badge and I don’t know I got around 35,000 vc somewhere in that range but you’re not mainly focused on just getting VC. At least I’m not.

Most certainly yes…recently ive been playing defense on a new build with no strength and no perim d lol…defense is easy in this game. If you play good d majority of the time you’ll get the stop!
please if uk ur defense is not good do not go low perm defense it was a struggle for me
