The amp passes all test with flying colors 👍🏽💪🏼👌🏼
What I found strange and in expected , the amp did better at 40 hertz than it did at 100 hertz ( it’s normally the other way around with 4 channel amps )
Amp did over rated power at Single channel 4 ohms and at bridged 4 ohm .

Bro thank you for all your INPUT.
Dam I did not see this before. Good info. Thanks a million.
Can this amp handle 4 deaf bonce 6.5 rated at 300rms?
@@Shyne_life what’s the part number on the speakers so I can look up the specs ?
@@NVSAUDIO AP-M67an
@@Shyne_life yes
@NVSAUDIO I appreciate that bro. Also I wanted to ask you.. I have a 01 tahoe with 5 deafbonce "8 neos in each of the front doors with 2 in each of the back doors. The speakers are the same specs as the 6.5 btw. I was wanting to know of a good amp you could recommend to push all those??
Great video.
Using Lex Riviera’s mount on road glide 15-19 will it fit 3 1200.4’s and a DSR and distribution boxes and controllers for hand controls
Nope
Must I’ve been able to
Fit is 2 1200 - 1 400 and a dsp
With the stock radio
With the Sony 7000 you will
Be able to fit it
Carlos, I gotta know, what's the difference between the Brazilian EVOX(EVO 4.0) and the US EVOX? This has been bugging me for a couple months and shedding some light would definitely help me pick the correct amplifier.
I can finally do a video on this because last week I got to final tune a bike that had the evo4.0 on them .
1. The are a different color so you can easily identify them against the American version ( the Brazilian ones are grey Evo 4.0 and the American version is black Evox)
2. The evox puts out about 20 percent more power so a American evox 800.4 is equivalent to the Brazilian Evo 4.0 1200.4 .
3. The American version is more vibration resistant ( better for motorcycles)
The American market is a more expensive market and customers pay more so the American version of the amp is stronger . Plus you can’t get the Brazilian version warrantied if it breaks , the amp is not supposed to be sold in this country so it won’t have any warranty.
@@NVSAUDIO Definitely looking forward to a video on this! I've been seeing the EVO 4.0's all over the internet and eBay for the $450-$475 range for the 1200.4 and was curious if there was a true difference. Every claim said they were the same as the US EVOX, but claims are claims.... Thank you for the valuable information and time good sir, it's much appreciated!
question! I hooked up some ds18 neos 8" midrange speakers and the front 6.5" but I hooked them each to their own channel without bridging and all of a sudden after about a year and a half one of the channels went out about a month ago and now another went out. have you had this issue with these amps b4? why do you think that happened? I have a 2020 roadglide special with the infotainment boom radio and a rockford Fosgate dsr1
Your videos be right on time. My 1200.4 is still clipping even after the flash. Im ready to toss this HD 4.3 radio. Lol
Bro ? what you rock'n wit dat 1200.4

I'm bout ta run 4 MS69's in bags and MSPRO65's in fairing with 2 M1SRT tweeters ... Looking for the rt amp to pump dis BIIITCH
@@bronxone72 after checking with carlos I should have chosen two SD 800.4s one to bridge the fairing speaker and one to bridge the back speakers.
SOUND DIGITAL EVOX 800.4
How many amps are they pulling?
To be technical, the other channels needed to have loads on them to in order to really see what it does…… but I know that’s a pain.
Great job on doing all these videos Carlos……. I know it’s a lot of work too!💯❤️
It pulled around 80 - 90 amps of current during the test because I was on test tones .
You are 100 percent correct the numbers would be a little lower
If I had loaded all the channels but that takes longer , requires more speakers and kills the test battery faster . To
Make the test fair I test every brand of amp the same way so they all have the same advantage .
Thank you for the compliment 👍🏽
Question what minimum size battery would i need to run these amps
Stinger agm is fine
Svt30L
Thank you thank you thank you Carlos for doing a real-world amp test. This is the only true way to show rated power that you are actually going to get in the environment that the amplifier was intended for. This amp is a absolute Beast. Keep up the great work and super informative videos.
Can I run 4 Hertz SX 165 neo’s on the front channels and 2 Hertz SX 690 neo’s on the rear channel on this amp?
Yes
We do it everyday
300 watts each to the front speakers
200 watts to each 6x9
@@NVSAUDIO How do you get 300 to the 4 front speakers? And then 200 to the 6x9’s?
@@uberoverland
Sorry I meant 300 on each of the front 2 channels
150 watts per 165 Neo
( the 1200.4 does 300 watts on each channel that has 2 speakers on it and 198 watts to each channel with one soaker on it )
Carlos, What amp rack are you using with this?
Are these amps waterproof???
No
But the 1200.4 evops is
