The vintage Kenner AT-AT was one of my absolute favorite toys ever!! My mom purchased it for me for Christmas of '81 and I can't begin to express how mind blowing that was!! I will never, ever forget that Christmas. Great, great times. Thanks, mom!!! 😀
I never got the Millennium or the At-At. I did get the most awesome x-wing, Slave 1, a Cloud car, the droid factory, Joda's swamp place, and Snow set. I shared all this with my brother, and i tell ya. THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!
Calvin Carpenter i remember my christmas of 83 I think when I woke up to He-Man figures and a brand new Castle Grayskull!!!! Will never forget playing with my toys that morning!
Glasswolf 01 ...i remember coming home from school to watch GI Joe..Transformers and He-Man..Thundercats. That was the decade with toys to be in every kids hands while watching the cartoon!
I'm a huge GIJoe fan and I love the Flagg, but quite honestly it doesn't have the play value of most other sets. You can play on it, but not with it. You can't realistically move it around and it doesn't really do that much. Again, it's what you do on it. I prefer sleep myself, but that's just me.
I got the original Millennium Falcon as a kid for Christmas. Blew my mind. Best present I probably ever got. Along with my Colecovision a couple of years later.
No Cobra Night Raven? H.I.S.S.? Rattler? Firebat? Stinger? Ok fine, I might be a bit biased. No Batman The Animated Series Batmobile either :( I guess I’m alone in my taste in vehicles!
In real life the ambulance variant was turned into the Ecto-1, but in the movie world Ray bought a hearse model for conversion. And if your brain has difficulty with the fact there's a gurney in the back they use to hold their packs, you'll be happy to know that smaller towns would actually use combo versions so that the same car could be used for medical emergencies and funerals. Though I imagine a hearse pulling up to get you after an accident would be a terrifying sight :D
@@StormAlterWorlds totally misspoke, my bad... in real life two cars were used to represent the Ecto-1: an ambulance for the modded Ecto, and a hearse for the pre-mod Ecto. For continuity, the hearse was dressed as a hearse/ambulance, so yes, in-universe it's a combo wagon.
Lots of fond memories of the turtle van racing Ecto-1 down the drive way. Today I wish I had been a little kinder to them. Both great toys that were played with very hard.
It's videos like this that make me glad I'm not a huge Star Wars fan. I'd be broke. I mean, I'm already broke (too many Transformers toys), but I'd be even more broke.
Nick Ferrazza I am that kind of Star Wars fan. I collected G1 back in the day and have a few modern ones but my Star Wars collection is 2000 3.75, over 100 6 and 12" figures, around 60 vehicles and many more things like statues, clocks, RC droids... it's a lot
John McCormick ....same here i got more Star Wars stuff than anything. My favorite line was the Legacy line from 2010 or so...the Legacy Falcon and AtAt was a must have!
Robd collector I have both and a lot more besides like the Sandcrawler, Imperial Shuttle, every TIE variant, a squad of X-Wings, Y-Wings, A-Wings and B-wings... every Hasbro/Kenner Slave 1... it's vast
I guess that's one bonus of not being a huge sw fan. There's so much cool shit from figures to vehicles to diorama pieces to statues, replicas, even lego sets. Very expensive.
I relive parts of my childhood through your videos- thanks for the awesome content and a great job pulling it all together as always. Although I loved the show, I never did have any MASK toys- that, and The Real Ghostbusters- were the ones that got away. The Skystriker still has to be one of my favorites. I got that one for my 6th birthday and still remember the awe on my face and all of my friends. Keep up the great work 👍

Thunderhawk is Hall of Fame for me. After that... Switchblade. And Raven. And Condor. And Hurricane. And... now I'm just naming every vehicle in the line.
When i was 6years old i saved $49.99 to buy the Ghostbuster Firehouse playset, it was the first thing i ever saved up for and the first time i saw the inside of a Toys R Us.👍 Good times
The legacy collection at at is absolutely fantastic and as a star wars fan of 39 years it was a dream come true when I brought it, all the star wars vehicles from 2007 to 2014 are unbelievable and I can't ever see a day when they will be topped, unless they are updated and released again.
One of my favorite small transport accessories is the snowboard that came with the Cobra character Snow Viper/Serpent. Have you covered favorite GI Joe accessories?
I think the hatred of Transformers movies is truly exaggerated. I would argue that four of the six rate anywhere from decent to quite good. Two of those movies were admittedly god awful. However, I actually feel that the Transformers concept was much easier to make into a movie than MASK stands to be. As Dan pointed out in this video, that car (which was the centrepiece of the show) just ain’t gonna fly.... literally or figuratively.
I will forgive no mention of Point Dread and the Talon Fighter. Easy to assemble, cool to fly, holds two bulky He-Mans, and ATTACHES TO CASTLE GRAYSKULL.
There are absolutely some great vehicle from the last 10 years. I'm guess the majority of our audience isn't familiar with them and that's why they didn't get any/many votes. If this were MY list... the DC Collectibles BTAS Batmobile and Batwing would both be on here for sure.
Night Raven is definitely my top pick. I found it while snooping for Christmas presents and my parents were PISSED when they found out! They threatened to take it back but fortunately it was a hollow threat. Man, I loved that thing!
Yeah, the Star Wars toy vehicles rock! My favorite one is The Vintage Collection X-Wing. It has a high level of detail, an opening cockpit, a socket for the Astromech Droid, retractable landing gear, a small storage compartment, a spring-loaded torpedo, and, most importantly, the ability to open up the wings in the iconic X-shaped position. Strangely enough, that toy was actually representing Biggs's Red Three instead of Luke's Red Five. Maybe, that's because it was likely designed to work with Biggs Darklighter action figure from The Black Series, which was sold at the time. My second favorite is Hasbro's take on the Jedi Starfighter from 2002. It pretty much resembles Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter from Attack of the Clones well enough, and has retractable landing gear, opening cockpit, as well as built-in R4 unit. But, most importantly, the Jedi Starfighter toy has an attack mode, which didn't appear in the movie, but, actually, was one of the main inspirations for the Jedi Interceptors from Revenge of the Sith. EDIT: I forgot to mention, but I also like Hasbro's MTT from 2012, when The Phantom Menace was re-released in 3D. The MTT had a battery-operated troop deployment function with the actual sounds from the movie. The toy also came packaged with Obi-Wan action figure, and a whole army of sixteen "battle-posed" Battle Droid figurines, which, unfortunately, had only two points of articulation and barely any paint job, likely for budget reasons. But, at least, Obi-Wan figure was decent, in my opinion.
Great video. Two of my favorite vehicle toys as a kid would be the sea duck from tale spin and the motorcycles from biker mice from mars. Probably odd choices lol.
Great video Dan. I actually have some of these vehicles in my collection, namely the 1981 AT-AT, 2010 AT-AT, 2008 Big MF, 1978 X-Wing, 2006 upscaled X-Wing, Ecto 1, Party Wagon (Foot Cruiser also), Rhino and Thunderhawk and Thundercats Thundertank. All of them are all fully complete.
I was kind of expecting there be at least one TMNT vehicle on the list, since the TMNT action figures were definitely a huge part of my childhood for sure. :D
I had the vintage AT-AT, it was amazing o.o of course I took the pilot figure to school, promptly had it stolen and tossed into a field :( ... That was a cool figure...
I'm shocked but delighted that the Turtle Party Wagon was no. 2 on this list. It's quite an honor that the one toy I played with until the door literally fell off was placed so high. I loved that thing, and the one day I came home from school to find it was nowhere in my room is a day I'll always remember. I would argue that the Mutant Module released in 1990 was the more superior vehicle though. A tank with a big drill on the front, and more guns than a small armory, with room for your favorite Foot baddies. That baby had it all. Nothing could beat the simplicity of that van though. a troop transport disguised as a VW party bus. This gives me the giggles thinking about it.
Man, I remember I could have nabbed that Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon for under $100 on clearance back in the day. My wife talked me out of it.... and now it sells for like $700. :(
Great video! I had every Mask, GI Joe, and of course Star Wars vehicles that made the countdown. Wish that I would have kept them. Destroyed in endless battles.
Adrian Luca , I believe you’re referring to the barge. If so, I wished it came with a Zarlack and sound(s). Maybe even a Luke Skywalker with a light up lightsaber.
I always loved the Silver Hawks Miraj space ship. I remember playing for HOURS with it and being awestruck by how huge it seemed to me at the time. (nose of the ship came out like a single pod)
Wow! Great stuff! Imagine if the Skystriker was made to scale for the original foot tall GI Joe! I'm a 60's/70's kid and had plenty of those Joes; the basic infantryman, sailor, astronaut, GI Joe with lifelike hair. Had the jeep and Mercury space capsule, both made to scale for those foot tall Joes! Good times!
The 1979 Falcon is my all time favorite action figure vehicle. I restored mine from my childhood, and it was no easy feat to find all the parts I needed. That Jedi training ball was probably the easiest part to lose so it was the hardest one to find as well as the one that cost the most. That At At is the one I always wanted but never got.
Great video as always, love to see what the toy community thinks of what their favorites one. Glad to see that MASK took TWO spots on this list. How about making a "Top 10 Best M.A.S.K. vehicles"? Eh? EHHHH? If not no worries, great work as always, Dan and Greg!
Oh man, the list isnt wrong, but my heart also wishes Starcom and The Wheeled Warriors would have gotten some honorary meantion. Really though, good list.
I was just thinking about Wheeled Warriors. The show was a bit of a mess, but the toys were pretty amazing. So customizable and innovative. It was never the same battle twice!
@ToyGalaxy I may not have the Flagg, but I’m glad I picked up this beautiful baby. It was pretty ridiculous lugging that thing around Comic Con for the whole day. It’s like the best kind of psychological and physical training for a nerd convention.
I loved the Cobra Hydrofoil.. but then again, I always had to play with my friends GI Joe's cause the only vehicles I had other than the Skystriker was that Arctic SUV that came out around the same time as Rocky IV. .... i think
I had the Thunderhawk and the Ecto-1, as a kid, and loved them to pieces... And I was always fairly certain that the gull-wing doors of the DeLorean from Back to the Future, also contributed to my digging Thunderhawk. I remember one year, getting two Thunderhawks back to back, for my birthday. And inadvertently embarrassing my grandmother, as I walked up to the aunt that had given me the second one, and dismissively told her, ‘I have this already’. Fast forward 35-ish years, and I wish I still had one!
Good to see mentions of the 2000's/Early 2010 Legacy Collection vehicles. I'm not part of the generations who had Kenner Star Wars, MASK, Real GhostBusters, Thtundercats and all that, hell I've never even seen a GI Joe in person, so seeing the stuff that was fucking awesome in my youth get noted was pretty great
Loved my millennium falcon and GI Joe hovercraft but if I could have just one vehicle it'd be the amphibious personal carrier from GI Joe. It was awesome and it was the perfect toy to pretend to be the amphibious tank thing from the cult hit "damnation alley".
Great video-- everything deserved its slot. I've got to chime in with two favorites: Skeletor's Landshark, which was the coolest vehicle I've ever played with and could gnaw through an infantry line without even slowing down. The Ninja Turtles Cheapskate, which was small, well themed, inexpensive, and had a fun action feature. A suburban kid could affordably outfit all four Turtles with one (I had two myself.)
As awesome as the Skystriker was, the Dragonfly was so much more. Smaller, sure, but more easily interacted with land vehicles, had a continuous motion rotor blade mechanism, worked with the HQ (landing pad), and had a winch that could haul other vehicles or items into or out of Battle. It looked the same proportionally to a real vehicle as the Skystriker.. I dunno. I just remember the Skystriker had the initial wow factor, but the Dragonfly saw much more actual play in our neighborhood. :)
Wow. I had/have 4 of these. The AT-AT was the very first Star Wars toy i ever owned (got it for Christmas the year after ESB came out). I also had the original Ecto 1, the Thunder Tank, and the GI Joe Hovercraft (first GI Joe toy i ever owned). Unfortunately I only still have the Ecto 1, which i have passed on to my son.
I remember reading that the 2010 AT-AT had a major issue standing and that you had to contact Hasbro for replacement legs, or shove tubes in the ones you had.
I was spoiled enough to have both the Millenium Falcon and the Imperial Walker. The AT-AT made many treks across the terrain of my familiy’s front and back yards, while The Millennium Falcon landed on various platforms of jungle gyms which I always imagined as being immense space ports. Good Times!🤩🤩🤩
The Thundertank over the Whale????? The Tunderhawk over the AT-AT????? The Ecto-1 and the Turtle Van THAT high on the list?????? This list is nuts. The Falcon is the only one that's about accurate on that list.
MOTU vehicles rarely fit the figures but I loved the Attack Track, Dragon Walker, Battle Ram and The Road Ripper. Downfall: none of them looked like the cartoon counterparts.
Dan Larson...aka budget Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) cosplayer! Hah! Sorry, I had to, but yet again another AWESOME wonderful video. Still the best and wittiest toy reviewer on the net.
Best Vehicles not mentioned in the video: 1.) Every Starcom vehicle ever. Seriously, there were no 'bad designs' in the entire toy line 2.) Any vehicle build by Legions of Power, Construx, or Legos 3.) Cobra anything: H.I.S.S., Moray, ASP, Raven...let's face it, Cobra had the monopoly on cool & innovative designs.
The vintage Kenner AT-AT was one of my absolute favorite toys ever!! My mom purchased it for me for Christmas of '81 and I can't begin to express how mind blowing that was!! I will never, ever forget that Christmas. Great, great times. Thanks, mom!!! 😀

No decade loved kids like the 80's.
Glasswolf 01 mainly because cartoons and toy makers could work hand in hand but then they took that away and both cartoons and toys suffer
Soooo true.
That's great, I'm soooooo stealing that...
LOL.
Glasswolf 01 ...i remember coming home from school to watch GI Joe..Transformers and He-Man..Thundercats. That was the decade with toys to be in every kids hands while watching the cartoon!
The Flagg....why cause it's the Flagg and can put all of the top 10 on its deck then sail into history...
The Flagg was the #1 in top ten bases of all time
It's a play set though. You can't move that thing once assembled.
That’s what the backyard pool was for
The Flagg isn't a vehicle, it is a teleportation playset. Everything needs to come to it, and the ocean moves around it, not the other way around
Genuinely surprised the Turtle Blimp didn't make it on here. That thing was so freaking cool!
No Cobra Night Raven? H.I.S.S.? Rattler? Firebat? Stinger? Ok fine, I might be a bit biased. No Batman The Animated Series Batmobile either :( I guess I’m alone in my taste in vehicles!
Allyson Racadio I said K.I.T.T. too. The Batman AS Batmobile should have definitely been on here!
Also I loved the cobra hydrofoil
GIJoe Tomahawk.
Isn't the Ecto-1 actually the Ambulance variant of that car?
Why yes, yes it is...
The hearse was from the cartoon.
@@pennygadget7328 That is incorrect. In the movie, it's an ambulance. It has a siren and lights on it prior to the rebuild. Hearses don't have either.

Hurricane is awesome. 👍
The 80's killed it. Dan I can't get enough you rock!! God bless Toy Galaxy, and even producer Greg! Lol
That Ecto-1 was boss. I had that vehicle set along with all the Ghostbusters and Slimer.

No Starcom? :O Those things were amazeballs.
I loved those toys. The magnet effects were unique.
Yes! I knew that the Falcon had to be on the list. I'm a proud owner of the X-wing and Falcon.
Star Wars vehicles will always be my favorite. From the AT-AT to X-Wing fighters. Vintage or current. I love the designs and f/x sounds.
One of my favorite small transport accessories is the snowboard that came with the Cobra character Snow Viper/Serpent.

MASK was truly a unique toy line. I keep hoping for a movie reboot, or at least some more toys from them. I can dream for this to happen.

Gosh... pushing all the right nostalgia buttons.
No Cobra Night Raven or HISS? For shame.
Both made the master list of votes. Neither made the Top 10. Raven was on my personal list.
I demand a recount! Clearly there was a HISStake.
CaptainRufus 10 spots is impossible to fit everything
Night Raven over the SkyStriker all day every day!
Maybe that's just because I had the night Raven and my brother the SkyStriker...
Night Raven is definitely my top pick. I found it while snooping for Christmas presents and my parents were PISSED when they found out! They threatened to take it back but fortunately it was a hollow threat. Man, I loved that thing!
Thanks!! I've been humming the Thundertank theme all morning.
The Space:1999 Eagle 1 Spaceship by Mattel Toy Co. was amazing! Can't believe it didn't make this list.
The ‘80s kick’D ass 🤘

I remember the first time I saw one out of the box thinking "I knew it was going to be big but holy cow!"
@ToyGalaxy I may not have the Flagg, but I’m glad I picked up this beautiful baby. It was pretty ridiculous lugging that thing around Comic Con for the whole day. It’s like the best kind of psychological and physical training for a nerd convention.
Great Video as always!
The G.I. Joe Hovercraft and Star Wars AT-AT Walker are two of my favorite toys from my childhood.
Great vehicle video. Thank you. I miss the technodrome.
Great video-- everything deserved its slot. I've got to chime in with two favorites:
Skeletor's Landshark, which was the coolest vehicle I've ever played with and could gnaw through an infantry line without even slowing down.
The Ninja Turtles Cheapskate, which was small, well themed, inexpensive, and had a fun action feature. A suburban kid could affordably outfit all four Turtles with one (I had two myself.)
I loved the Land Shark. I'm a fan of vehicles with shark inspiration.
I absolutely loved MASK. I had about all the vehicles and boulder mountain, yet never had Thunderhawk even though it was my favorite.
Great list. The Falcon!! Ugliest ship in the galaxy!
This is the best list ever!!
I had the Thundercat's Thundertank and it was glorious! Cobra Commander and Starscream where very very confused and impressed (at least in my mind).
You just validated my whole childhood by putting the Ninja Turtle van at number 2. I fucking love you, man!!!
I love this channel!
My choices based on recalling my youthful playtime enjoyment and honestly the rankings are subject to change:
10 Land Shark (MOTU)
9 Thunderhammer (Air Raiders)
8 Wind Rider (MOTU)
7 Rhino (MASK)
6 HISS Tank (GI JOE)
5 Piranha (MASK)
4 Gator (MASK)
3 Sky Striker (GI JOE)
2 Cobra CLAW (GI JOE)
1 Switchblade (MASK)
Honorable Mentions: Condor (MASK), Jackhammer (MASK), Firecracker (MASK), Battle Ram (MOTU), Spydor (MOTU), Hawkwind and Twin Lightning (Air Raiders)
All good votes! All made the master list!
Excellent as always!
Great video!
I liked this video!
Nice list. Some great toys there.
You forgot to mention the gi joe aircraft carrier yeah its seven feet long by 3 ft high but it's still a vehicle
As i said on Twitter. You're content is MY content. Bravo!
Thank you very much.
The Thundertank over the Whale????? The Tunderhawk over the AT-AT????? The Ecto-1 and the Turtle Van THAT high on the list?????? This list is nuts. The Falcon is the only one that's about accurate on that list.
Love the Millinium Falcon
There is one other toy hearse out there besides the Ecto-1. The Musters drove the Muster Koach, which was a mash-up of a Model-T hot rod and a hearse.
MOTU vehicles rarely fit the figures but I loved the Attack Track, Dragon Walker, Battle Ram and The Road Ripper. Downfall: none of them looked like the cartoon counterparts.
The Battle Ram and Attack Trak were released before the cartoon existed!
Dan Larson...aka budget Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) cosplayer! Hah! Sorry, I had to, but yet again another AWESOME wonderful video. Still the best and wittiest toy reviewer on the net.
I think that shirt is too dark for Alan Grant.
Best Vehicles not mentioned in the video:
1.) Every Starcom vehicle ever. Seriously, there were no 'bad designs' in the entire toy line
2.) Any vehicle build by Legions of Power, Construx, or Legos
3.) Cobra anything: H.I.S.S., Moray, ASP, Raven...let's face it, Cobra had the monopoly on cool & innovative designs.
G.i. Joe's Tomahawk. The Gadgetmobile. Mach 5. KI.T.T. General Lee. Evel Knievel's motorcycle. The Animal. The Big Loader. The Cylon Raider.
How you keep that right eyebrow up through the whole segment, is beyond me. =D Love your channel!
My favorite vehicles all came from the Xpanders toy line... But few remember that fondly.
Wow! Can't believe the Tomahawk didn't make the cut! And can't believe that baby toy turtle van ranked as high!
The votes reflect the demographics of the channel.
Man. I had all of these as a kid except for the Skystriker, Ecto-1, Thundertank, and Turtle Party Wagon.
I got the 2008 falcon when it was brand new on sale at toys r us. It sat in the corner of my living room for a month till my birthday
Everything on this list was first round draft pick Christmas wish list material!
