Experience is good bro. On normal usage,it gives backup upto 3-4 hours. And, on heavy end task like editing and gaming, it is suggested that you should plug in the charger and perform your respective task. As you mentioned, you need it for editing and basic college work you can go with this one. Koi issue nhi aayega.
