    This is so beautifully done.
Whoever you are, whatever your dark times are. I hope you can allow yourself time to heal, that you remember that it's a journey and that you have people you can open up to. Take care of yourself, treat yourself the way you would treat a good friend. You are after all the person you'll definitly spend the rest of your life with. Be kind to that person. You deserve it.
And should you read this, Albert: You've been a huge motivation for me to get better at bouldering and now, finally, climbing again too. Even if you put a full stop to the whole youtube stuff, you crushed it, man. If you want to, we're all happy if you keep crushing it. If it's too much or you need a break, we understand and are happy for what you've given to this community, and I think I'm speaking for all of us here. And we'd be happy to wait till your next video goes up :)

Oh shit, what a beautiful montage! This resonated with me on so many levels. I’m still doing my PhD and I feel like once I defend my thesis, my body will just collapse into an empty husk because what’s been keeping me up was all this internal pressure. Nice progress! Having a sprinting background and good flexibility helps (along with knee pads). I wouldn't have recommended using the Tamoa skip until having the 10 meters dialed in, since it makes it harder to get into a rhythm, but you managed to make it work. You'll easily hit a better PR by changing your beta. You definitely can get to sub seven.

Great video. The mix in style of video really catches you off guard but it only serves to emphasize the deeper meaning to really applying yourself to something. Also the transition to the closing was a perfect way to end it. It seems like you haven't just improved tremendously on speed climbing but also in story telling. Great job and congratulations on the 7.5.

Man, you're making me tear up. Thank you for sharing your story ❤️ The past few months I've been struggling to make any real kind of progress in my climbing. At the end of last year i was at my peak, feeling strong, and climbing things that were increasingly harder. Then life got busy, i lost a lot of strength and now I've been set back quite a few steps. And these things happen, but i was so caught up in pushing my limits that i somehow distorted what climbing meant to me. I've had to redefine what progress means to me, and what makes me proud of myself when climbing. Right now, patience is needed. But I'm not giving up. That much, i refuse. The mountain is big, but I'll continue to climb it. Literally and figuratively, i guess!

I never thought I would get so much imparted life wisdom from a climbing video but it's incredible to hear everything from your perspective and what you were going through when you started this journey. I don't know you. You don't know me. Maybe, somehow in the future we will meet, maybe we won't. But you have impacted me none the less. Thank you, Albert. I needed this.

Thank you for taking the time to write and produce this piece. It means a lot, and it's motivational. You spoke about the mind and made clear that the condition I find myself in is not a solitary experience, however much it feels that way. We are all feel it inside, sadness and secret self pity. We feel it during some seasons to a debilitating degree. We sit in solitude, desiring connection, but feeling trapped. One of the great tools for understanding ourselves and living through these times is the ability to express this most private shame. Deep expression will reminds someone that they are not alone. If, given some chance, each person takes the time to say this, then together we will all remember that this is the universal human condition and it has not damned us yet. We are not alone.
