@@Homesteadhappyhour Weren’t many people there, at the time of this festival alot still thought the “thing “was still a thing……. Know what I mean???? 😎Sierra is great regardless of the crowd size.

I agree with Patsy Cline, but I think her chops are better than Linda R. and I have been her fan for years. Sierra is herself but she seems to channel other singers. Sometimes I hear Patti Page and other times I hear Bonnie Raitt. Her vocal prowess is all over the map!
All the praise for Sierra Ferrell - I second that emotion. When the song calls for it, Sierra Ferrell can be sublime, I'd say, in the ballpark with Patsy Cline. Sierra is a pro. Natural gifted singing and talented playing but she's worked at this a lot through many years and though Rounder has embellished her offerings, there are solid arrangements and top shelf talent around her bringing her into a new league..., so that's worth supporting.... but live is where the excitement is I think.
but also let's remember that the recording sessions bring other musicians work too which has value. But yep, she and her present touring group are the real deal on stage! - kickin'!
Sierra Ferrell. Always wonderful and inviting. Super superlative voice. Rare and soaring. We are so lucky to hear Sierra. Josie Toney's fiddle work is driving and wonderful and lilting on the softest of Sierra's terrific tales. Just terrific. Delicate, supportive mandolin by Josh.
