Steve I'd suggest a porta Poti. When I was OTR for six years I purchased a porta Poti from Walmart for $150.00. I also used the detergent packs that go into the porta Poti. It came on a bind when I was OTR during the pandemic
Marcus, Pleasure meeting you as well. Thanks for you and your mom making me star struck. It was good to hang with you for a bit. Keep pushing ahead.....
What, no wide-screen tv? Just kidding, I wouldn't know where to put one, either. I would have mixed feelings about having a cb radio. My trainer had one, but he didn't really use it when I was with him. I kinda wonder if a lot of drivers still use them these days. Your truck looks pretty cool, Steve, and my heartiest congratulations on hitting 1k subscribers. I always look forward to your videos, they've been both informative and entertaining, head and shoulders above the rest. Which reminds me, I forgot to pick up some shampoo today! Keep the wheels spinning and stay safe!
Cb isn't used as much as it used to be . I do think it's important to have one though. I have seen many instances where other truckers have alerted another drover of a blown tire they weren't aware of and things like that. It's also useful when traffic happens and ppl will help telling us what lanes are closed ahead. Other than that ppl use it to talk shit which is actually entertaining at times lol. 😂😂
@@SemiCrazyTruckerLady I often wonder about the current popularity of cb radios. Someone should take a poll to find out how many drivers today actually use a cb. Maybe it could make a comeback, that would be cool.
Thank you! Yeah I hear that is what they are great for. I also hear there are so many baiters on there trying to start crap or just be annoying. Thanks for stopping by!
Leasing can be worth it. I have a few videos that cover miles and income. You can make money, but it's also risky. You have to want to run, not go home every other week, and fuel plan to make it all work. Leasing on the company OTR side, you can make a few hundred dollars more than company some weeks. Some weeks will be the same pay, but you are paying for ownership of the truck. I would look to get on a dedicated account or train if you want to lease. More consistent miles with those options. Hope that helps a bit.

@charlescontreras4135 I've used it only a few times to call out a douchebag or 2. It's always hilarious getting belittled by a female. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
