How did I start welding

Bro, I’m actually a physical therapist, assistant and I really wanna get into welding. Please tell me I can do it. I’m just afraid to have a bad month and not be able to feed my kids. Also, I don’t know how to find jobs.

Well you can definitely do it, but you gotta do it right. I would save up 3-6 months worth of living expenses. While I’m doing that I would work nights and weekends finding welding work. Then when you have enough saved up you have developed a clients list on the side.
Keep that day job until it doesn’t make sense to anymore. Like your making more on nights and weekends then you are that 9-5
