I have a pair of Nuraphones I’ve had for almost 2 years now and they were $550 and the AirPods Max seem to be better spec for spec compared to those so I think the price is more than reasonable. Plus they could be budget end for professional studio headphones like what this did with their Display. The mass public just doesn’t understand and know that.

Active noise cancelation is definitely not better than Bose and Sony. You have to buy a 35 dollar jack and the only way to shit it iff is using the case. Once again Apple restricts the usability and over price their equipment.

Sony XM4s are half the price and are better in almost every way. Lighter, better controls, works seamlessly with more devices, has better battery life, has an actual case, TURNS OFF, has an audio cable, etc. for $279
@@tamahawk175 They’re made of plastic instead of metal, they don’t have an H1 chip, so I’d have to deal with normal Bluetooth pairing, I have Apple devices, so working with other brands is meaningless to me, and I hate touch controls, especially the stupid swipe controls. No one has the set of features that Apple is providing with these, and especially in a package that doesn’t look like they made the design in half an hour.

If there was ever a true test for whether "i"Justine was just an extension of Apples Marketing team or had a shred of authenticity to her reviews, this was it. No quantifiable mention of anything that justifies this price tag (apart from comfort)!

I came here to say this. I don't have a problem with her videos but at the same time she never has any objective input for apple products, or for any products really. She is just one big hype train for everything she gets her hands on.
Why does she have to justify the purchase for you?? If you want the convenience and don't mind investing in it, buy it, if you don't care, then ignore it. Having a particular audience does not mean that the product shouldn't exist.
@@00SNIVY00 I think the point he's trying to make is that people can glean as much information from her videos as they can from reading the marketing on Apple's site. The reason for tech reviewers is to provide an outside, unbiased opinion (this is not always true of course) of a product that wasn't written by a think-tank of marketing people from the company selling the product. If the product has any value to justify its price then the engineering and marking behind it will show that. Her videos almost never provide any outside opinion except that some giggly girl got her hands on new tech and she is REALLY happy about it. (again I have no problem with her videos). People look to these kinds of videos to get info that wasn't paid for by a multi-billion dollar marketing team, and yes to JUSTIFY the purchase of a product for their own personal use, she doesn't do that. Obviously it's working out good for her but anyone (myself included) looking for what Gauts mentioned, any "quantifiable mention of anything that justifies this price tag" should not look here. I think looking to a reviewer for justification of a price is a valid request.

Sennheiser HD800 is $1399. The problem is , many guys do not know that there are many other brands that sell headphones for a very high price. $ 550 is nothing for the advanced technology. All the reviews on TH-cam have been very positive.
