    Very informative video - yet again! Question: I live in the US (New Jersey to be exact) and was wondering if the type of ground bait and Feeder pellets you use in the UK would also produce in the States? I think the majority of carp caught here in the US are caught on real, canned sweet corn.
    I’m concerned because the majority of our carp (I believe) are consider wild, hence they’ve likely never seen the type of pellets/ground bait mixtures you typically use in the UK, so possibly won’t be interested in it.
    Are my concerns valid? Any thoughts around this issue?
    Thanks so much,
    Joe

    I love the variations of how match anglers fish and feed and attack certain pegs... Thanks for the videos too jamie.. iv been strict with regards feeding and fishing on the bottom on a pole and had good results doing so 👍 oh and you sure your not just trying to sell the remainder matrix heavy catapults because they only have the extra heavy ones in most places atm 😂😇

I have joined a local angling club water that was a clay quarry reaching 35ft in places.. members say if you can catch here you can catch anywhere.... not directly asking you to do a tuition in Buckley Trap pool but something similar for other anglers.. cheers mate

      Iv been fishing my local canal latley but only catching perch on worm... any advice to try pick out the other course fish that I'm sure are present? Is dead maggot a decent bait? It'd just I'v got some in freezer and wanting yo go tomoz.. iv got dead maggot, breadcrumb mixed with a bit of fishmeal and dead maggot frozen, tin of corn ? Bread mayb? Any advice welcome lol ps.. I was planning on taking feeder rod tomoz with my son on the canal

    • @davidlee8999
      @davidlee8999 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@leafysfishing personally I have never tried dead maggots in the canal but I know they work great for fish to grub through so I would think they would be ok with the feeder my preferred method is either punched bread with plain liquidized bread which I make very wet or white maggots I also use chopped worm mixed with a little ground bait just to bind it together all of this fished on a 8 mt pole I play about with the depth anything from 2 inch over depth to an inch under hope this helps a little tight lines

    Another excellent video Jamie.
    Quick question, if you start on the short /long lines and don't get bites or indications from carp, would you then look to Increase the feed or make some noise?

    • @ifishmatrix
      @ifishmatrix  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you don’t get any signs then loose feed to make some noise to attract some fish.

    • @ifishmatrix
      @ifishmatrix  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes match the feed pellet with the hook bait. Most of the time Jamie uses natural pellets

    Hey Jamie, love the content. What shotting pattern would you use in say 7-8ft of water? That's very typical in my local venues here in Finland, I'm trying your spread bulk in final 3rd Vs spread bulk, and find several advantages to your technique but wondered what you would advise? Thanks and love your videos. Cheers

    What we never get to see with your videos is using these methods on natural venues,estate lakes and canals. The methods shown will with any method catch on a water stuffed with millions of fish and most times no other anglers on the water. Please in the future try to show us these skills on a water where to be honest you don't need to be Tommy Pickering to catch. This way we get to see if these methods do actually work.

    • @topfuelteddy
      @topfuelteddy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You wouldn't fish like this on a natural water , so why would he make a video about it . It's a completely different way of fishing .

    • @jameswright7590
      @jameswright7590 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bore off! He’s a commercial matchman why does he need to go to a natural venue? Most viewers, I suspect , fish commercials and just want tips for catching plenty of fishes! If you want fishing on ‘estate lakes’ give Korum Fishing channel a subscribe X

    • @nicknewman4027
      @nicknewman4027 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@topfuelteddy there are many fisheries in between a commercial and a natural. Not all fit into the two categories. I too would like to see competitive fishing methods on venues that aren't stocked to the brim with carp or f1s, a weedy tench lake for example. I'm using Jamies techniques here in Finland (shotting, feeding) and I'm genuinely interested in things such as bulk+2 Vs Jamie's spread 3rd. If commercials were mixed fisheries, it would be even more interesting. This is very very carp orientated, but I absolutely love Jamie's theories and content.
