Payoff wise, I think it could work if the frog comes back in the last scene. Sitting along the fire, with or instead of the second bag? The bags are not actually alive, we discover they move because the frog is inside it? Or whatever else, but something to help tie the ending and beginning together with a symbol.
Just an opinion thou, feel free to ignore me, do your movie you way. I’m just here for the ride :)

I think the plastic people try to grow trees and improve the land. They can change from what it became maybe find animals that are still alive and help them. They find other people that are also wondering around aimlessly and create a community to improve. They do this by living not through advanced technology, just farming and being together.
That's all I got.
i really like the idea of nature kinda coming back over time without humans itd be cool to include that ill see if i can make it in 3 weeks hahahh
ok, there is an overgrowth of mutant plants. They adapted from the pollution in the air and chemicals. They don't have to be monsterish, but it's like nature evolved over time, and the plastic people are just living through it, not changing anything, just adapting.
This is just another alternative because you said you liked the idea of nature growing by itself.

one video at a time and soon ill be creating all kinds of movies and shows and such
love the way you montage and the humour but the idea sounds like it's being related to anything but global warming. civilization: grows, civilization: falls. the only thing giving us any clue about global warming is the fact the bag is made out of plastic. it gives a general blurry vibe of humans just being bad
hm that is true, my thought process was that humans are the reason for global warming so the civilization growing was the hint (ig? i cant think of the word) that it's about global warming and how were destroying nature to the point where only plastic will survive. but unless you know that the animation is about global warming that message can be missed, ill see how i can imply even more that the reason that humanity falls is because of climate change because rn honestly it could be war or sth. thanks for the feedback!

we just observe
