The moving buildings scene you mentioned might be from Akira (1988), the whole movie has sick ass city shots and it's animation is way ahead of it's time

Dude, congrats on finishing! Im so glad you made the film entirely on the iPad.
Id recommend to try out other animation apps like RoughAnimator and ToonSquid, especially with the latter, which I personally use as a base compositor for my animations.

The buildings moving is done with an effect called paralax incase you didn’t know ! It goes back to the days of the multiplanar camera and is sued expertly in movies like Akira and ghost in the shell
