Their kids are such awesome curious little guys, and so respectful to everyone. We had many conversations with just the kids, and it was so refreshing to connect on that level.

Dreams are attainable? My dream after a few months would be getting a bigger place. The kids and their stuffed animals are so cute....
You can tell Jen & Kirt have done a build out before. Starting with a big empty box and transforming it into a comfortable home on wheels in 2 months has to be a record. I love the colors & the backsplash in the kitchen. The copper sink is a beautiful addition. Big Red looked comfortable & well laid out. Macho is a veritable penthouse on wheels. With the torque & horsepower of a 5500 Ram truck, there are no off limits to this rig -except maybe low tree branches. This couple has built an Earthroamer at a fraction of the cost. Ok, maybe Macho doesn’t level itself out automatically or inflate its tires automatically or come with a wine cellar, but it’s close.

Are you familiar with 'navy situp berths', the L-shape bunks with space to sit up?
@@largemarge1603 Vaguely, I feel like we saw something like that in our research. Unfortunately, we were so pressed for time with the build and needed stuff that was readily available. The bunks are standard sized RV bunks and the mattress we got delivered from Amazon.
That back porch is the bomb! I would LOVE that space, especially since it can be enclosed with screen.
I met these guys in person about 3 weeks ago in Cathedral Gorge Nevada. I had recognized them from their TH-cam channel so it was a treat to see them in person and get a tour of MACHO in person. They were super hospitable to me and the group I was with and answered many questions! A very nice family with an awesome Earth Roamer! It even has a pull-up bar on the back!😂

Agreed! So many benefits, peace of mind, security....there are so many other road schooling families out there as well. It can be as easy as you want it to meet up with other families!

The boys are adorable. I have 4 boys & we live in a 32ft camper. We are almost done building our house & I honestly can’t wait. It’s not super easy (for us!) living tiny as a family of 6.

Absolutly love this family! There build is amazing and the freedom they have to go almost anywhere is great! Im limited in my 25 foot class A 1994 Winnebago Warrior. I can go alot of places that bigger motorhomes cant but with her age now and me going on my 5th year living in her full time alone at 61 years old I am now going places not as far out there. Ill tell you my happy 454 chevy motor thinks she can go anywhere. LOL!
Appreciate that! We wanted an upgrade from the van but small enough to fit places like you outline. We can still fit in a normal parking spot as long as we can hang over!
What a wonderfully happy family❤️I really love their positive attitudes & how they trust themselves in doing what they know makes them happy! Not following the rat race is a great option…more of us should do that!

Great idea! Especially not conforming to everyone else’s dreams. We broke away from public education and homeschooled. We raised caring, adventurous and smart adults. Because, they learned to think for themselves. God bless your path.
Some would dream of the 11 acre Tennessee farm...but I understand the desire to explore.
Maybe one day we'll return to something like that but don't see us going back anytime soon :)

I think the layout is great. Love it❤️The boys are gonna have so much wonderful memories. I grew up in the country side coastal area with my sisters and cousins. And we all lived in our ancestral home. We used to camp out in our living room 😂pretending we're at the forest. But we're already living in a farm area😂

This is an absolutely beautiful video - your mobile home is beyond amazing, but to me, the most important thing I took from this is how happy, content, grateful but above all, the love of family - just so beautiful to watch and something we must all aspire to. As you said, you are finding yourselves on your journey....and to me, that was the most profound statement - just sublime. Even though 'people' chase to acquire materialistic things, be fake etc. somehow they still complain when they achieve that and it is 'never enough'. However, you have shown that you don't need to mortgage out your souls in pursuit of keeping up with the trends, but to seek tranquility and happiness. You have the rest of your life to find something else. This time with your children can NEVER be bought back. Lose it and it's gone. I learned I had the rest of my life to find a great career after I got to stay home for 7 years with my children until the girls went to school. I worked the first many years part time until they were done high school and trust me, they need you present more later than they actually do young. My husband used to laughingly say that he would work the first 7 and I had to work the last 7 and darned if that wasn't exactly what happened? I actually worked 8 years after he retired but we bought an acre and he put a little cabin on it and took all the grandkids out for weekends out of the City. Don't wait to do the things you think are the right thing for your little family. Time really is fleeting and as Mom said, the kids are really growing. Best wishes to you four.

I love the deck and the awning with the netting all around really extends their living space. I love all Jennas videos; I feel like they all have such an upbeat, happy and genuine vibe.

Very surprised by how many people seem to think that our TIny Home is too tiny when featured on a TINY HOME channel. Wow, this is a huge upgrade from the van. We have plenty of space in here. No complaints.
@@OverlandUncharted ......not saying i think it's too tiny , i'm saying , in my opinion , it's too tiny for 4 people . as far as it being an upgrade from a van , 4 people in a van is a distinct impossibility as an option , no matter how young your children are.......... a tiny home , should not be unrealistically small , for the number of people it has to accommodate.........

I'm sure your 5 and 8 yr old enjoyed and grew from the 2 years of Covid than the kids who did school online during the same period. And, I bet your boys are closer to you and your wife than many, if not most, children and their respective parents!

It's really not glamping if you are a full-time rv-er.. that mini split is a necessity when you are living on the road..overlanding doesn't mean struggling..its a beautiful build and they should feel proud of what they built and are building their future on. 😀
