I remember that I used to be exclusively a BTS fan and refused to check out other groups, especially EXO since they were the big rival group. (The only member I knew was Kai, but that's mainly because he dated Jennie and that news was everywhere lol). But one day I decided not to be stubborn and watched a performance. And wow, I realized that they are INCREDIBLE. I love them just as much as BTS now. My bias is Baekhyun

This particular concert of EXO which is "EXO'rdium" won as concert of the year for it unbelievable concept and extraordinary energy of the whole concert. EXO is so energetic throughout the concert that one of them (Kai) broke his shoes during this opening of their concert.😂😂

EXO has the most badass and lit VCR and Intro.
SM really emphasizes vocals. They train their artists like mad. Running on treadmills, running up and down stairs with weights on their ankles...all to learn how to control their breath to support singing, while exerting amazing amounts of energy. Their performances are EPIC as a result. Actually, all SM artists are amazing live. This version of Wolf really is outrageous! Thanks for the reaction! EXO really is so much better live than in the studio!

EXOrdium won the CONCERT OF THE YEAR. you surely understand now why EXO concert tickets are so fast to sold out. even JYP attends their concert and have his mobile confiscated for taking pics and videos. and many more celebs, idols and big personalities really loves attending EXO love performances.

Exactly, they actually practiced singing while doing the threadmill during their training days to practice their breathing while performing.
And also it is actually their opening performance, every part of the concert is a climax for me.

This is just the opening Sam. They're gonna perform for TWO HOURS more. You wanna be there? Every exol does. But if you DO have they money, it is still not easy. The ticketing war is insane. This concert (EXOPLANET #3: The EXO'rdium) was sold out in 0.4 seconds, the next tour (held the next year, titled EXOPLANET #4: The ElyXiOn) was sold in 0.2 seconds. Still be the fastest sold out ticket in kpop. It's faster then blinking
I think SM has a separate division that manages their idols’ concert tours called Dream Maker. The crew is working simultaneously while the concert is ongoing. So there are no gaps within songs. It’s so great of you to notice of them as well!!
And so if you have producers that gives this variety in music, staff and crew that gives brilliance to the stage, and EXO that delivers the vocals and choreography expected of them; then you will have a performance like this. SM may not be the best company but they indeed have the best people 😄😄

15:52 this is just a little part of the concert.. the whole concert is about 2-3 hours and they still have energy till the end of concert.. also they held the concert for about 2-6 day in a row, and they spend few months for world tour

SM’s Performance Director is Beat Burger Jae (Shim Jae Won) He does almost all of SM’s concerts including the graphics, the stage design, lighting/lasers, and some of the choreography! He is one of the greatest choreographers kpop has seen and he also produces beats!
