I mean yeahhh. This freaking Live is the reason i found EXO as a whole beside solo stuff. I was sold. Bcz i had never seen such an Epic live show.

EXO will always be that group for me. They get my vote every time. But these really are my two favorites and I'm so glad they both made the final. I was worried at first when I saw "Wolf", but as soon as I saw you were doing the live, I knew you'd love it just as much as we all do. It gives me chills every time.

EXO and Shinee are under the same label SM entertainment so that's why you felt that similar feeling. I really recommend you to try EXO Killing voice where you can get essence of their various song's including b-sides and then i want you to try EXO latest song Cream Soda.

@21:53 that was Chen. & Baekhyun was the one singing with him. @22:12 that's D.O. these 3 are EXO's main vocalists. pretty well known as one of the top vocalists in the 3rd generation of kpop. @24:22 EXO's "ring ding dong" is probably be Growl. if you you ask any idol or any OG kpop fan, they're for sure know about it. 2nd place to that would probably Love Shot. @25:25 that's the Tree of Life. yes. part of the EXO lore where they have their powers.
EXO are usually concidered the start of 3rd gen, not 2nd gen.
I like TXT becuase they somehow remind me of Shinee (my favs), but EXO vocals always win it for me.

I vote for EXO their live stage is always better than the studio version that's why my Spotify is full of song from exo planet live albums I didnt like wolf music video but loved the song after the performance that's what makes them so great I could never pick who in the main vocal line is the best (DO Baekhyun Chen) but solo music wise Chen does more ballads that why I listen to more of his music

EXO is truly AMAZING live 😍
I've been lucky enoch to have seen some of EXO-K's debut stages on music shows on my first Korea trip. It was instant love 👌 They were practically "glowing" there on the stage. And have seen them on two different SM Town concerts after that. They kept glowing 🥰 They aren't my nr 1 favourite group, that's "always" been SHINee, but they have a very special and precious place in my heart ❤ So talented!
EXO is actually considered to have introduced the 3rd generation. Congrats to them, I enjoyed the format of this tournament, it was fun !

Just to give you a background of who were the biggest group of each generation.
2nd Generation:
1. TVXQ (2003 to present) - In 2006-2008 awarded officially as the biggest fanclub by the Guinness Book of World Record, spanning across all asia (Korea, China, Japan, Southeast Asia). They were then called the “Asia’s Stars” by the media.
2. Super Junior (2005 to present) - dubbed by the media as the “Kings of Hallyu Wave”, given their contributions in the Korean Wave across Asia and Latin America. They have solidified their status from 2008-2013.
3. BIGBANG (2006 to present) - From 2012-2014 was their International Breakthrough and was dubbed by the media as the “KINGs of KPOP”.
4. SHINee (2008 to present) - became popular since their debut but have catapulted their success from 2011 onwards and was dubbed as the “PRINCESS’ of KPOP” since the Title of King was already given to Bigbang and SHINee was too young back then.
All 3 (TVXQ, Super Junior and SHINee) were under SM Entertainment making them the No.1 agency.
3rd Generation
1. EXO (2012 to present) - given the status of SM Entertainment as the premier agency, International media were all eyes on them when they gave hints of creating a new group. Then came EXO’s debut in 2012 and Instantly became a global hit. Releasing hit songs after hit songs, they emerged as the “EMPERORs of KPOP” and after the falling apart of BIGBANG, they eventually succeeded the throne as the “KINGS of KPOP” from 2014-2019.

In 2017, after their performance at the American Music Awards, they have made a mark in the International media, and eventually in 2019 onwards they have succeeded the title as the BIGGEST KPOP GROUP of ALL TIME.

i have been a kpop fan since 2nd gen (2009) and i must say I am very much proud of TXT for coming this far. their music, the lore, the relativeness of how someone feels on the current time, is something that one group cannot pull easily.
through the years, txt is the only group that resonated this much to me. they still have so much years and experience ahead of them and i must say i will forever support them, their music, and their art.
