Btw guys: For any history/geography buffs out there, the 'quiet isle' is almost definitely based on the island of 'Lindisfarne' in the north east of England. I went to a catholic school, and one year we went on a pilgrimage to lindesfarne. It is an island that you can walk to by day, but not by night once the tide has come in. More significantly however, it is home to a monastery. We had to carry a big wooden cross to the lindesfarne monastery, across the shifting sands before the tide came in, just like Brienne! :P In all seriousness though, GRRM has previously said that much of ASOIF was inspired by his trips around the UK, and in the north east of England; Lindesfarne is seen as a bit of a cultural & Historical landmark. Also, apparently the Vikings invaded it too at one point. Pretty interesting stuff.
It's also neat that Sandor's actual elder brother was the one who set him down the path of aggression and torment and that an "Elder Brother" healed him and brought him peace

I honestly think that Sandor is alive in the books, but that there’s no use bringing him back into the plot if he is. I hope that either his true fate is left ambiguous, or if he’s confirmed to be alive, I hope he continues his peaceful life.
I thought there was one more pretty important hint for cleganebowl: The prophesy of the 'little brother' who was supposed to bring down cersei. Cercei thinks this is Tyrion, and Tyrion did kill Tywin and stuff, but didn't kill Joffrey or try to kill her. So Sandor being the younger brother of Gregor winning the trial by combat, thus condemning Cersei, makes sense. But idk, like the video says it's still not that likely.
Lyanna Stark There are a lot of possibilities for the valonqar though I also favor Sandor in the role. But if young Aegon truly is who he is supposed to be then he is the younger brother of Rhaenys. Jaime is also Cersei's younger brother though he no longer has both hands to strangle her.
Bran is the valonqar. He'll warg into Bloodraven, who will warg into Hodor, who will ride to King's Landing on a camel to tell the people that Cersei is guilty, and then he'll warg out of Hodor, as Bloodraven, and warg into Salladhor Saan from the the tv show and fuck (not rape) Cersei until Jamie gets there and then Bronn will warg into Cersei and kill herself. Btw, Davis is Azor Ahai. Stannis is Nissa Nissa. His Onion Dick is Lightbringer
SPOILERS Could it be that the «little brother» mentionned in the prophecy that predicts Cercei's death is Sandor? If he's a novice among the brothers, doesn't that make him a kind of «little brother» to them? Plus, even though Cercei thinks that the prophecy is about Tyrion (and others think it might be Jamie), it specifically said THE little brother and not YOUR little brother. Sandor being a litteral little brother to the Mountain AND a novice of the brothers could very well be the little brother mentionned in the prophecy. Also, compared to Tyrion and Jamie (since he lost his hand) he would have the strenght to stragle Cercei, while Tyrion would not and Jamie would have a hard time doing so one-handed. Any thoughts?
Valerie Ferron i think he won't literally kill he but figuratively will,Cersei has asked for a trial but combat, and will use Robert strong as her champion. Then the faith will will the gravedigger as their champion, and the hound will win figuratively killing Cersei.
In the finale, we see a giant masked man that they say has taken a vow of silence carry Cersi away. Some people assume its the mountain. What if its in fact the hound. I don't believe they would be stupid enough to let her just go back to gather her forces and strike back. I think the faith have control of the Red Keep as well.
Lukas Cronin "There were shadows all around them. One Shadow was dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them loomed a Giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood." The Hound is kind of obvious, the Golden Warrior could possibly be Jaime and the Giant is probably The Mountain/Ser Robert Strong
cortex383 My interpretation of that is that the shadow with face of a hound was the Hound and that the one armored like the sun, golden and beatiful was the Gravedigger/sandor and loomed over them was indeed the Mountain. Like that there are now these 2 personalities represented by one shadow each.
The chapter of the quiet island is one of my favorite moments of the whole series. Along with bran seeing the past, Jon getting picked as commander, tyrion's trial, dany's liberation of the slaves at astapor, etc etc
Cheers. I'm generally pretty relaxed with minor spoilers, and spoilers from the TV show that have already been plastered all over the 'Net, but major stuff from the later books is worth putting behind warnings imho.
Kris K I think- and that's more my personal wish than any theory, that Arya will become a Faceless Man (or more a Woman) and be sent to Oldtown, probably to help Jaqen for his mission (if he really is the guy that killed Pate, but that would make good sense, since he never visits the House of Black and White) with the maester. I really look forward to the story part, especially because I think there is more to the Sphinx riddle that Alleras being Sarella- that is too obvious and kind of pointless to be the solution.
akrybion lol I'm still on book 2 trying to catch up. So most of the stuff you just said falls on my deaf ears just yet. Gimme a couple weeks and I'll get caught up. I just discovered ASOIAF recently so I'm a newbie. Although I have binged on all the TV show. Arya is my fave!
Kris K Fuck, say something like that next time, I totally didn't want to spoil anything, sorry :o I finished ADwD just last week and now my live is empty again. I think I'm going to start writing a fanfiction, I have kind of a nice idea (I think^^)
I was about to go on a Dany revenge killing spree (you know crucifing those Mereenes dudes), when someone spoiled me the R+L= J theory before I caught up with the books and then someone spoilered one major... event in the end of ADwD :)
I honestly don't see Sandor as being a bad guy. He's certainly not a good guy, but I wouldn't call him a bad guy either. Also, while Robb was heroic to some extent the thing that actually lead to his death was a lapse in honour (and judgement).
+OneOnOne1162 I agree on both points. Sandor is definitely not a villain. I think he's more of an antihero than anything else. And yes, Robb did screw up and he went against his word, which is ultimately what got him killed.
+OneOnOne1162 the red wedding was pre-planned, it would have happened anyway despite his his slight to walder frey, So taking the frey girl as his wife while having a secret relationship wouldn't have worked either. Tywin had the whole thing planned out :(
+OneOnOne1162 The best thing about GoT characters is that they aren't one dimensional. Throughout the series you'll find yourself hating a character one moment then cheering for them the next. Rarely there is such a simplistic delineation between good and bad.
Hey +Alt Shift X. I think I (or anyone else) would be able to translate your subtitles to spanish if you uploaded them to mediafire, mega or whatever web you use. Then, once they are fully-translated, I could upload them for you to download. After that, all you need to do is 'add' the subtitles to each video.
Alt Shift X mega.co.nz/#!cB50lZjb!hFloipSvc3hMmFhakd2PdGuHBrN7B_RNgMpjlOrWeBg That's the spanish subtitle for this video. I must admit it took me a lot more time than I expected x) Anyways, I'll try to translate the others aswell.
Maximiliano Blitzkrieg Thank you so much! I've had several people offer to translate subs before, but you're the first to deliver. I'll put these subs up now. Would you like me to credit you in the video description for the translation?
Do as you please. I honestly find it gratifying to translate videos/subtitles to spanish for those who do not speak english. And it also helps me improve my vocabulary x)
GoT fan theory (SPOILERS) I put a lot of thought in to this... This is how I think it will end. (read below) "Tyrion will have midget sex with Dany. then she will give birth to a dragon and the dragon will have sex with another dragon then they will give birth a albino dragon and the albino dragon will end up with Jon Snow. And he will ride the albino dragon and kill Jamie Lannister. Then he will burn kings landing and then Dorne will invade Mordor. And Margery Tudor, aka director from most recent hunger games will poison Cersei and the spartans from 300 lead by master chief will all be killed by the golden company. Anyway Jon Snow is visited by Ned Starks ghost and he's all like "Yo, sup basterd... umm so you should kill tyrion cuz... yeah." So Jon Snow goes to tyrion and burns him with albino dragon fire then on his death bed, tyrion tells Jon that tyrion was Jon's long lost mother. Yeah... Maester Aemon gave Tyrion a sex change when tyrion was young, he was born a girl then Maester Aemon used Theon Greyjoys sniped off man parts and made Tyrion a guy... Any way this is how I think 'Harry Potter And the sorcerers stones', should end. Give it a thumbs up if you agree.
This would be an awesome ending I think most of us can agree on that. But you know Jeanine Matthews is also controlling a zombie armie known as the white walkers and I think she will kill tyrion before he finds out jon snow is still alive. jon will have to find by employing the help of bilbo watson and sherlock. I am also sure gandalf and galadriel will have a part to play in the destruction of kings landing.
When Sandor has become a monk and follws the church it wouldn't be unlikely that he would volountier as the faiths champion, after all he is one of the best fighters in Westeros.
The Hound's story mirrors Arya's. Just like Arya cannot become no one and Sandor cannot become a brother. Arya is a she-wolf and Sandor is a hound. Just like the Faceless Men with Arya, the Faith is using Sandor for his abilities. Cleganebowl is happening in 2016 get #HYPE
To recap last night's episode...They confirmed Robert Strong was Greggor... Jamie said something to the effect of seeing Robert Strong in a trial-by-combat would be "something". Aria discussed the Hound with no-name-face-guy. GET HYPE!
Don't forget the questions they asked Arya about hound and how he was the only one she couldn't lie about why to show so much of him if its not to come back
Hey man, I must tell you, well done! Your videos are excellent. The use of family trees, actor pictures, scenes from the show and House sigils really helps me understand the theories and especially remember characters that haven't been heard from in a while! Good job!
No mentioning that Arya always whispered "The Hound" every night? Until she did her final "prayer" in front of him while he was laying on the ground wounded she didn't mention his name, not as a pity on him but because she believed that the Hound was dead, but Sandor Clegane was not.
Of all the theories, this one is true beyond almost any doubt. I feel like a bit of an idiot for missing it when I read the chapter because there are so many clues littered throughout it. It's almost like concluding the Hound's storyline was the point of that chapter.
This is a really interesting possibility, and one that I actually thought of myself when reading the chapter (unlike some other theories such as Jojen Paste and Bolt-on). Like usual, you've done a really great and comprehensive explanation of the theory. I really like how you include quotes from the books in your videos.
I think Sandor will leave the Quiet Isle to find Sansa. When Brienne came, Elder Brother and probably Sandor learned that Sansa is alive, lost and very much in trouble. Noone knows where she is but almost half of the people in Westeros are looking for her. Although he doesn't, we know that he is so very close where she stays. And someone ought to enlighten Sansa about Littlefinger, that person can be Sandor because he was aware of his betrayal. In the Alayne chapter in the Winds of Winter, there is a huge tournament, and Alayne should find a man to give her favor. Well, who knows?
Man please start pumping this out on like a weekly basis or something OMFG these are awesome. I wouldn't complain if you went through every theory ever made. You sum them up so well!!
I really want Cleganebowl to happen, but if the Hound has found peace why will he want to fight his brother? He's also crippled after his battle at the Inn. Unhype :(
kuledinho I don't think he has found his peace. This is a guy who spent all of his life from age six telling himself he would kill his brother. He would not have a change of heart in a month (Or however long it has been) on Quiet Isle. He would also be representing the faith, so I don't think the monks would care. There is also this quote "There were shadows all around them. One shadow was dark as ash, with a terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over both of them loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood." Which seems to show the two trial by combats that Gregor Clegane is involved with. The Golden warrior is Oberyn, The hound faced one is Sandor, and The giant in stone armor is the mountain. GETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPE GETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPEGETHYPE
kuledinho maybe the faith decide he is the only man who could feasibly fight 'Robert Strong' and he fights him not out of vengeance but to serve the faith. ive got nothing on the whole crippled part tho
The path of faith sounds like something we do in the Netherlands, called wadlopen. Mudflat hiking is the english translation, what it is, is walking across the sea floor during low tide, from the mainland to one of the islands. This is only done with qualified guides and is deathly dangerous without one. It is stunningly beautiful to walk at dawn (low tide, early morning), it can be quite hard, but with a guide it is a safe hardness, a good healthy challenge. The beauty and the challenge are what I like about it. Guides carry long sticks, to fashion into a makeshift gurney in case of accident and to prod the streams we need to cross, which I have personally seen can be as deep as a tall Dutch man, in that case we had to walk farther upstream to find a safe crossing. Worth doing if you like this sort of thing, if you want to see the equally beautiful islands (boats also go).

Your editing and explaining skills are UNREAL. Really love your ASOIAF videos, give us moaaar :D please?
Dalia Saravia Moar comin.
Alt Shift X more* hate that spelling doesn't even make sense to "say read".
The Hound is such an underrated character.
The video was good, but the Cleganebowl part was enough to make me add this to my favourites.
More HYPE was needed to that part but he tried #GETHYPE #CLEGANEBOWL2014 #REKT
The Elder Brother: "So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view."
Don't usually comment but just want to say how much I'm enjoying these GoT videos. Keep up the good work! Look forward to your next one :)
Thanks! More videos coming.
So addicted to these videos!! Very well presented, easy to understand, and total nerd fodder.
I love these fan theory videos!!:)) please keep making them!!
I'll keep making them if you guys keep watching them!
CleganeBowl cracked me up HAHAAHAHAHA. Ohh and thanks for the subtitles, it really makes the understanding easier
great video - i'd also love the irony that another "elder brother" actually "healed" him.
The Hound took a vow of silence on the Quiet Isle, and Robert Strong took a vow of silence till he kills all of Cersi's enemies. The battle of mutes
I'd really like to see a reunion between the Hound and Arya

SPOILERS
Could it be that the «little brother» mentionned in the prophecy that predicts Cercei's death is Sandor?
Valerie Ferron But the idea of Jamie being the "little brother" is too beautifull to abandon.
Xqwzts Personally think it's Edmure Tully given that he's been sent to Casterly Rock and Cersei probably will end up going back after the trial
William Stockbridge so is qyburn part of the faith, or not?
The Hound is truely the best Charackter in Westeros!

No evidence for Cleganebowl? What about Bran's first Green-Dream?
Yeah you're right, I'm too dismissive of Cleganebowl in this video. There is evidence, including Bran's vision.
Alt Shift X
I dont really remember his first vision, could you pls sum up which hint is given in it?
Lukas Cronin "There were shadows all around them. One Shadow was dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them loomed a Giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood."
The Hound is kind of obvious, the Golden Warrior could possibly be Jaime and the Giant is probably The Mountain/Ser Robert Strong
cortex383
thx :)
cortex383 My interpretation of that is that the shadow with face of a hound was the Hound and that the one armored like the sun, golden and beatiful was the Gravedigger/sandor and loomed over them was indeed the Mountain. Like that there are now these 2 personalities represented by one shadow each.
IT'S HAPPENING
he's back bitches
The chapter of the quiet island is one of my favorite moments of the whole series. Along with bran seeing the past, Jon getting picked as commander, tyrion's trial, dany's liberation of the slaves at astapor, etc etc
Ian McShane is the elder brother and has 100% spoiled that he's bringing the hound back on the show.
Are you sure it’s credible?
@@MacTac141 uhhhh lol. It's definitely credible seeing as it happened several years ago
@@lykos619”on the show”
laughed my ass off at the Cleganebowl music.
"Get hype"
I just watched every one of your videos in one sitting! Keep them coming!
I gotta say I am really thankful for the spoiler warning. +1 sub.
Cheers. I'm generally pretty relaxed with minor spoilers, and spoilers from the TV show that have already been plastered all over the 'Net, but major stuff from the later books is worth putting behind warnings imho.
Your videos are great! They make everything much clearer, with the books excerpts, and the clips. Thank you so much! Keep going!!
All Men Must Hype
I first watched this when you posted it 7y ago as a teenager and it's still my favorite Sandor comfort video
the cleganebowl edit killed me, great vids by the way! adds a lot to a persons understanding
I love how your jokes are added so seamlessly into your videos.
Can you do a video explaining how Arya fits into the end game of ASOIAF?
Kris K Fuck, say something like that next time, I totally didn't want to spoil anything, sorry :o
I finished ADwD just last week and now my live is empty again. I think I'm going to start writing a fanfiction, I have kind of a nice idea (I think^^)
akrybion I'm not one to worry about spoilers, so don't worry. I actually seek that stuff out anyway. Fan fiction would be fun, I bet. Go for it!
I was about to go on a Dany revenge killing spree (you know crucifing those Mereenes dudes), when someone spoiled me the R+L= J theory before I caught up with the books and then someone spoilered one major... event in the end of ADwD :)
lol i love that Clegane bowl so much...and on other videos when you hit the air horn. Great shit man!
+Blondiegrrl Tywin was the one that staged it though
+OneOnOne1162 the red wedding was pre-planned, it would have happened anyway despite his his slight to walder frey, So taking the frey girl as his wife while having a secret relationship wouldn't have worked either. Tywin had the whole thing planned out :(
MrPurplephrog How so?
+OneOnOne1162 The best thing about GoT characters is that they aren't one dimensional. Throughout the series you'll find yourself hating a character one moment then cheering for them the next. Rarely there is such a simplistic delineation between good and bad.
Thank you for the spoiler alert near the end of the video; I appreciated it.
ock up your chickens un-name your swords and pre-order tickets for clegane bowl today!!
The Cleganebowl rave part made me laugh. Great video.
Maximiliano Blitzkrieg You're very welcome to do so, if you'd be so kind: mega.co.nz/#F!PYcDnISK!G3sdlEFaHJqycZ-BIuMQPQ
Maximiliano Blitzkrieg Cool. Thanks again (:
This might be your best video, its well made obviously but also very funny with your celganebowl moment. Great work.
TV writing, what would be cool?
Book writing, what would actually happen?
lol love the millisecond flashing of "Get Hype" at the end of the "mad beats"
GoT fan theory (SPOILERS)
I put a lot of thought in to this...
This is how I think it will end.
(read below)
"Tyrion will have midget sex with Dany. then she will give birth to a dragon and the dragon will have sex with another dragon then they will give birth a albino dragon and the albino dragon will end up with Jon Snow.
You lost me pretty quickly.
Yeah that happens some times becky B
The sorcerer's stones xD
Cry Obviously he is(;
This would be an awesome ending I think most of us can agree on that.
Please make the Robert Strong video. And your videos are so so rad. Keep making them - I love them!
When Sandor has become a monk and follws the church it wouldn't be unlikely that he would volountier as the faiths champion, after all he is one of the best fighters in Westeros.
+C IA Yeah i also guess that cleganebowl is way more likely than before after last episode, atleast in the Show
But if he is lame, he wouldn't do very well in a fight with his brother.
Fragin Bob
Well his brother is an undead zombie, not too sure if he can fight as well as the mountain could
Seeing as he had little trouble against Gregor at the Hands tourney that just makes the fight more even.
Dr. Pavel... I'm CIA
Dude, supreme kudos on these vids, you're awesome, and cheers for the spoiler warnings!
The Hound's story mirrors Arya's. Just like Arya cannot become no one and Sandor cannot become a brother. Arya is a she-wolf and Sandor is a hound. Just like the Faceless Men with Arya, the Faith is using Sandor for his abilities.
Cleganebowl is happening in 2016 get #HYPE
yes!
+1 for those on the ball Em lyric references - subbed!
To recap last night's episode...They confirmed Robert Strong was Greggor...
Jamie said something to the effect of seeing Robert Strong in a trial-by-combat would be "something".
Aria discussed the Hound with no-name-face-guy.

+djAnakin oh boy im erect
Stop, my penis can only get so erect.
Don't forget the questions they asked Arya about hound and how he was the only one she couldn't lie about why to show so much of him if its not to come back
Search for " Ian mcshane leak " and you will be happier than ever, cleganbowl confirmed
they confirmed he was gregor ever since he came onto the show
Hey man, I must tell you, well done!
Your GoT analyses are just fantastic. Gj!
I really believe George RR Martin is visiting to this youtube channel now.
nope he said that grrm writes his books in a computer with no internet and reads no fan theories :)
He writes the books in a DOS machine, but he has a personal computer to read his e-mails and update his blog.
+Claudio Pereira Thanks for correcting me
No problem.
Love the Clegane Bowl visual and music! Sub'd!
Unhype :(
kuledinho FUCK THAT AND FUCK YOUR FACTS, CLEGANEBALL IS HYPE HYPEHYPE
kuledinho I don't think he has found his peace. Deucalion THAT'S THE MOTHERFUCKING SPIRIT MY FRIEND!
kuledinho maybe the faith decide he is the only man who could feasibly fight 'Robert Strong' and he fights him not out of vengeance but to serve the faith. ive got nothing on the whole crippled part tho
Worth doing if you like this sort of thing, if you want to see the equally beautiful islands (boats also go).
it's 2026, Winds of Winter has finally been released by the android that GRRM uploaded his conscience to, The Hound has 18 POV chapters, life is good
Lol
I did not think this theory credible until i saw your video. Awesome work.
WHAT DO WE WANT? CLEGANEBOWL!
WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW!
Wolfeh 2016.
Great stuff brother! Enjoyed the theories and they could entirely be plausible!
Can you please do more theories, and probably do one every week?
I can't promise one a week. But there will be more!
Alt Shift X Awesome looking forward to the next video :) do a White walker theory
I fell in love with you when you made a the Eminem comparison! :'DD
