Just bought the same downpipe for my 1.8. Did he see an increase in the car’s performance? I have a stage 1 tune already, but I’m hoping this part helps even more.
i was told that if you’re stage 1, there won’t be much of a difference besides in the top end. you need to go stage 2 to really feel a difference with the down pipe.
You can buy the catless version in the US, but it is ilegal to use it while driving on the street/roads, it’s strictly made for ‘racing’. Also, with a catted downpipe you have less of a chance of getting boost creep…I just bought the CTS Turbo Gen3 1.8T/2.0T TSI Downpipe with High-Flow Cat for my 2019 Passat 2.0T

Honest it was slow before and slow after so idk. We are putting the rear section together with a muffler this weekend.

I definitely see a difference in performance, night and day, now the car has a cold air intake and a ecu tune

Depends on the state. Some states do not require a cat, for example Michigan.
were u able to get the 02 sensor in without an extension or anything?
i jus bought the same thing and other ppl say u need one and others say u don’t, i’ve got the exact same car
No I didn’t need any kind of extension
Hello, what box does that car have?
It had no muffler connected
will it pass emission????
We live in Florida so idk nor do I care
Cats are literally the only reason why you need emissions.
Dsg ?
@@jacksonrujano251 nope
Can you send me the link to buy the same Dow pipe? I want to get that sound when I make the changes with my jetta. Thanks bro
i believe to get the catless you have to buy it off CTS website itself, I havent found it anywhere else
I believe I did order it from their site. Maybe they were just out of catless ones at the time?
@@neverendingprojects maybe it was a hard time to find the catless one , it's on sale I think for 300 right now
