This is an amazing feat of engineered solutions to address today and tomorrow's energy demands. This technology is over 20 years in product development. Incredible effort by generations of some the best engineers in the world! Congrats on getting this technology into successful operation !
Time to convert America to electric and build this new century to live. The overall efficiency of this Petroleum/Electric power generation arrangement is quite literally breathe taking.
This may sound kinda stupid, but if a Harriet was to burn Hydrogen, wouldn't its exhaust be clean water vapor which could, by using cold water to condense it, be a new source of both water and energy for the species? Ya think?
Sou Brasileiro e os vídeos é em inglês,tem como colocar a legenda em português,temos turbinas a gás aqui Brasil os vídeos é ótimo esclarece conhecimento, apesar do meu inglês fraquicimo.
Don't believe the hype! GE's Class H turbines do not meet the published efficiency ratings. There three turbines which were shipped to Pakistan has suffered major problems. Siemens and Mitsubishi gas turbines are far more reliable, and are more efficient
All three plants have suffered from fundamental defects, which include issues such as combustion seal leaks (major contributing factor for failing to meet published efficiency ratings), and most shocking of all, the plants also suffered from back-up failure when there was power outage - this is a major issue. This can cause rotor failure which is what happened in one of the plants. This fault required a new turbine to be fitted to the value of $33 million!
@@vitalengineeringxpertspvt.3787 GE now admit that there is a major flaw with the primary turbine blade - apparently it suffers from significant oxidisation!

SOLD !!! I'll take two.
470 MW is just mind-blowing, and 40% single-cycle efficiency is diesel territory.
What an amazing engineering creation
Bad ass, is my comprehensive comment ;-)

Amazing. Thanks!!
Oh men thats fantastic 👍

it seems like a class of music, the excitement you were looking for turns down to a loss of attention and focus!
good
" GE General Electric, ist the best gas turbine. ...." **.***
9HA demand more capecity to make more conected some time more ooo ooo time.

why did not GE make the electricity in IRAQ in a good conditions ? Exploited ..

nobloodyusername Care to shed some light on the 9HA turbines problems installed in Pakistan? I am from Pakistan and I am interested.

Yeah well if you guys weren't using sand in the turbines they would last a lot longer, they're designed to run off gas
