I never thought I could like this song any more than I already did. It was easily my favorite song by Metallica. But there is something more here. It's hard to explain. But this one just resonates with me down to my soul.
I actually like this version much more than the original. Not to say that Metalica did not do a great job but this is much more of a vocal style I enjoy. Like your comments as well

So-called "climate changing" is merely one interpretation --- I've read numerous very different ideas amongst the thousands of comments on The HU's mv --- greed, the breakdown of modern families, a failure to heed wise elders, etc.

I really loved the video - the story & art was absolutely gorgeous. I was pleasantly surprised at how they interpreted the song & still made it sound like the orig song.
Also, I love your videos and it saddens me that people are directing negativity towards you. Those people suck and should find something meaningful to do with their time. You are an amazingly kind person and honestly, they can fuck off.

Absolutely agree with you on covers and sad that you’re disappointed about their new video not being an original video.
As a person who recently came to enjoy those particular genres of music, their cover opened a new artists to me again, which I’m very glad about it.
Also I think this new video just made a statement of their style and their upcoming music, giving me more expectations about what’s to come! 💃🏻

This song is for their record company's 15 years in the biz. Other label mates will be releasing songs too that will likely be on a compilation album. I'm not sure whether this will be on The HU's upcoming album.

The video is brilliant and has lots of meaning and messages about greed and disconnection to the earth in today's society which is something that is close to their hearts.

The two-stringed, bowed instruments are morin khuur/horse head fiddles. The three-stringed guitar-looking instrument is a tovshuur. Yes, that was Mongolian throat singing. All of their music is fantastic!
It’s a cover, but I would imagine that if they’re next album gonna be like the 1st was they’re gonna have 2/3 covers/crossover songs and if this is just a preview then I feel safe that the next ones gonna be good
