The qb contain and spy are kinda broken, I noticed the computer still doesn’t read the whole play correctly, Lamar and Russel burn em on All Madden consistently

I’m glad for this. It really does help I now only need madden to stop putting my cornerbacks in the box while putting my linebackers out on the outside recievers
I always wreaked havoc on D by cycling through Press, Blitz, Drop, Base so I never gave away what I was running and would time their cadence time until snapping to get them going in the right direction presnap. Kinda like timing your blitzes but with my entire secondary. If I wanted a good deep drop zone, I show blitz, then base, to press, (this will get them panicking, or false sense of burning me/Man coverage) and just before i though they woulds snap Id tap the cushion. This timing sent them in the right direction to get a jump on any receiver, then Id be in Zone, when they thought man, panic, because this is also a great way to disguise your blitzes while setting your guys in position to your advantage. How do I time their snap you ask. Well, their confidence or overconfidence it telling in how many audibles (routes or entire plays) they do. This also gives me a tell of what they are doing. If Im close to the recivers, they will audible out of a run and what to go deep or cross. Or vice versa. I press-they audible, I back up they audible again--means I have the upper hand. Its like how an offense can use motion to get the D to tell man or zone, but for Defense. You can do the same with D Line and LB to staggering them can give away their run preference and if they are keen on what they watch presnap, Move the D to right and LB to the left, or spread one pinch the other. I was a manual prowler bc the prowl defense was not really prowling

I had alot of success in madden 20 with Cover 3 Buzz Match especially if i was going against somebody that had a mobile qb and i threw up a spy cuz it wld make them panic and the coverage wld box their routes so they threw me alot of picks

Something similar happened to me when I was the colts and my friend was the ravens. He went for it on fourth and goal and I made him fumble and it went out the side of the end zone. So touchback for me right? No he gets the ball on his 20 yard line with a first down. I was like WTF
I feel like man is horrible this year all it takes its 2 good receivers doing crossing routes, not to mention lbs are mad slow. They really up receivers route running this year its harder to cover them. Despite all the negative reviews this is the best madden ever.
How are you supposed to audible in time. Whenever I play someone they immediately snap it so I don't have time to adjust.Madden needs to make it so you can make custom plays imo.
KingVHD Last year, you could just hold the right stick down at the snap to jam them, but this year, you have to hit X/B and input a direction, and you have to time it right and hit the button right when the receiver gets to you
hi! I have a problem with MADDEN 21 ... playing the Offline FanchiseMode it is not possible to increase the game difficulty, even if you set All-MADDEN, then during the match the difficulty is moved to "Rookie" ... it's my problem or is it a general bug of MADDEN?
It should auto be on. But that doesn’t always help you cause the computer isn’t very smart and will tell you to cover deeper than you should be. When using players just look at the play and where there zone is and cover that area and when you see someone get open run toward them to cover them just try not to open up a receiver that was in your zone
Did I miss something? They used to have a mapped button where I could make single player adjustments WITHOUT leaving my user? I can't seem it find it. I keep having to leave my user, and I get stuck on my D-line and I'm outta the play.

Is it also possible to assign specific players to run certain plays in madden? or quickly substitute them in for a specific play to run?

Just man everyone and curl flat (purple zone) your outside lbs they cover crossers really well

Where is the thing that tells you how many receivers they have on the field, I can't find that anywhere in my game
Wait for the offense to select a play and on the bottom right or left it will tell you the offenses personal on the field

Playing against AI is annoying. I feel like it automatically knows what play your running and selects the best play against it even after adjustments

it’s a setting, should be in the video settings and say something like “on field trainer” or “on field visuals”
What if that line backer has a coverage assignment, will his assessment switch to a different player or does that tightend or rb go uncovered?

I’m new to madden, so if you shade inside would that help stop passes over the middle or no?
It can't hurt but it's hit or miss.

Best to manually try to take it away yourself, stay in the middle with your Safety or Linebacker and try to jump the routes.
I’m running cover 4 drop and playing over the top and people are still throwing post routes over my head what do I do?
