Sweet hunt! At 5:53, that Buff definitely looks like a 1936S, not a Denver. One of the rare times you didn't scope it to confirm, though. That was a hot box, though!
Hey, I went to Wendy’s today and got change back and got a liberty quarter from 1928 and a Washington quarter from 1958 in my change back pretty nice haul for some silverand old coin👍👍😁😁
Wow! 1933-D is a date I have never found in circulation. (And I've been looking since the late 1960s) A few weeks ago I found a 1921-S, a date I had not previously found. Weird thing about that find is that every other coin in the roll was a Shield Zincoln. 🤔
I’ve been searching through pennies since the late 1960s too and I didn’t find the 1921S until 2012 but since then I found 4 others! It’s funny, in the 1970s and 80s and 90s I hardly found any of the “old” mint marked wheats but in the 2000s I found a lot more of them. Still it’s pretty hard to find them pre-1940 mint marked wheat pennies up here in the Northeast. I never thought I would find one of the 15 lowest mintage wheat pennies until I did three days ago.
@jamesbushey4013 Yes I agree with you. It is much easier these days (last 5-6 years or so) to find dates that I would not have found in the 70s-90s. Perhaps because cents have such nominal value that virtually no one except us true hardened coin nerds look at them ? Or, possibly more likely, older collectors are dying and their cent collections just get dumped because the inheritors don't think it's worth their time to go through them ?
Dang - three buffalos and three silver nickels - that's sweet! And at least you are finding some 2024-D's - I have only found two 2024-P's in circulated boxes. Another great video!
Wanted to let you know have been watching your channel for several months now. Really enjoy your coin searches and the interaction with your followers. Thanks and continued success!
Please consider doing a Buffalo Nickel side finds book for this year. It would be fun to see how many spots you can fill! You’re already off to a good start! 🙂
Awesome finds! 3 silvers and 3 buffalos were really nice except for the 1945 one. 🤣 It was pretty roached. I really enjoy watching your channel. I hope this year turns out to be a great year. 💖💯
Living in a rural area, I wish I had as many banks/cu's, but I still have fun finding what I can. First box I hunted had a V & buffalo but no trifecta. Found a 50-D in another. Love watching 👍
Wow.... I'm jealous. I've been looking through nickels for more than 50 years and two Jefferson Nickels have eluded me. 1950-D of course and 1939-D. Always tough are: 1950, 1955, 1958, 1951-S, and obviously 38-DS, 39-S, 42-D. I've found more War nickels than 1955 & 1958.
Awesome finds!! I hunted my first nickel box of the year a couple days ago. 3 buffalos, 1 war, 10 2024-P, and a couple newer DDO/DDR. Tons of newer reverse die chips on left side of Monticello.
Usually the tall Brinks boxes do you good. Sometimes tokens can be collectible. That looks pretty old. Three buffaloes qualify as a herd. "Where the buffaloes roam".
Great hunt Rob! I stopped by my favorite bank this week and got 20 bank rolls. When I got home, I started looking at ends. 3 of those rolls made my heart stop. Of 120 coins, I had 100 of the most stunning 1960, 61, 62, 63 nickels I have ever seen. Some with full steps. I'm pouring over them now. Rock on Rob and happy hunting to all.
nice hunt rob every time someone find silver nickels remind me the day i got 20 nickels rolls from a bank and found 29 silver nickels have not happen again lol
Awesome hunt. Just had a customer come in yesterday at work, circle k, and payed for $9.66 in gas. Gave me $4.50 in bags of loose cents, a few bills , and misc. change. Ended up getting 1 war nickel (44d), 1 steel cent (D), 1 1990 ASE, 3 IHC (05,02,88), 91 common wheat cents, and about a roll and a half of copper cents. Can't get mad at that.
Belgian 1 Franc is not Silver sadly. Also, there is a hilarious place you would not think exists: Nickel City The place is a gaming center that uses nickels. Been there myself.
Rob I want to give you a heads up on a possible coin show that will be coming to Edmond Oklahoma. I plan on inviting different TH-camrs. That I have seen and no go to different shows. This show the tables will be free to people that are known sellers. And licensed dealers. I'll let you know more as soon as we get the dates set up I'll definitely let ravenhawk now

Sweet hunt! At 5:53, that Buff definitely looks like a 1936S, not a Denver. One of the rare times you didn't scope it to confirm, though. That was a hot box, though!
It was indeed.
Awesome thank you so very much for sharing 👍👍❤️

Happy 200th episode!!!
Nice 👌 box 📦
I found a 1933D penny yesterday in Fort Edward New York. The lowest mintage wheat penny I ever found in 55 years of penny searching!
I'm an hour away, and it's good to know such finds are showing up!
Nice find bro

Hello RobFindsTreasure. Today Sunday January 5th I found my first silver dime in a coinstar at Walmart. 1964 Roosevelt.
Great way to start the year Rob 👍 and the silver jar didn't have to wait long 🤓
what a way to start the year!
Great nickel hunt congratulations on finding 3 silver war nickels and 3 Buffalo nickels and other finds thanks for sharing Rob
Fantastic start for this years finds!
Hi Ho Silver! Great start to the new year Rob! Happy Hunting! Stephen
Awesome hunt, thanks Rob!
Wanted to let you know have been watching your channel for several months now. Really enjoy your coin searches and the interaction with your followers. Thanks and continued success!
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words!
Congratulations on the finds (yeah Buffalo's) Nice video. Keep the silver train rolling.
Nice hunt, Rob!
Nice to see you get on the board with some silver to feed this year's jar
Another great hunt Rob. You had some good finds in the 2 boxes hunt. Finding silver for the silver jar and you didn't have to summon the silver genie.
3:06 its not a 1921 its a 29 because i can see the curve at the bottom
4:25 its a 44
and the 36 is a S Mint not D
It is a 1921. Confirmed again. The 36 is an S though.
I was gonna say, I thought I saw an S for the mint mark, glad to know he found something even more unique.
Good start for the New Year!!
Wow! Nickel boxes are the best. Really cool finds in this one!
I went through a nickel box a few weeks ago and found 11 2024-D. I was surprised; didn't expect to find any.
Off to a good start.
Please consider doing a Buffalo Nickel side finds book for this year. It would be fun to see how many spots you can fill! You’re already off to a good start! 🙂
That's a good plan. I always think about doing that BUT keep forgetting! Maybe I will.
Great hunt to start the year 🏁
Happy New Year's My main Man keep up the great work 👍
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too!

Thank you! I hope yours is great as well brother!
Nice way to start out the year with nickels! Looking forward to seeing your next hunt!!
What a great nickel hunt, congrats. Hud found a war nickel today, but light finds in todays box.
Thank you brother!
Looks exciting! Can't wait to watch it when I get back home from a crabbing day.
Great way to start the year

Hey rob nice find
Next to the penny hunts , nickel hunts are number 2!
I too found a 1921 buffalo nickel recently - with a nice full 4 digit date.
Box 1 was 🔥
Loved the content! I hunt alot of nickels bcuz of those 2024s selling like hotcakes. I have 3 rolls of them atm
A line of silver and a herd of Buffalos great hunt
Awesome finds!! I hunted my first nickel box of the year a couple days ago. 3 buffalos, 1 war, 10 2024-P, and a couple newer DDO/DDR. Tons of newer reverse die chips on left side of Monticello.
Very cool!
Good stuff, Robinski
Rob, no rest for the weary I see 👍🏻
Nice finds.
NICE!!!!!
Love the videos

They do.. I like the tall nickel boxes the best!
Awesome nickel hunt to start off 2025 Rob 👍
Cool 🫘 & francs 🤣 🤣 🤣

Very awesome!
Nice (63' Denver or plain?)
@jaymartell2967 Every last one of those 100 were Philadelphia.
I have a couple nickel boxes to crack into hopefully they’re good! Found a 1907 Indian head penny in a box yesterday
Happy hunting!
Hopefully some silver some Buffalos and V nickels would be great.
Holy moly I am in Canada and doing a nickel hunt and found the same 1952 Belgium 1 franc that’s crazy
Your 2025 nickel box hunts are off to a great start.
That was a great hunt!! First silverrr of 2025!!!
I've found my share of nice 39-Ps in nice condition, but I'll take them every time.
Rob I am first on a Saturday afternoon out here in the Bay Area
What kind of coin magnifier do you use? Do you sell them? Thanks
Do you know what the final mintage for the 2024 nickels? Are the nickels the only low mintage for the year?
👍
Rob, I hope 2025 continues to treat you well with the silver great video
Thank you!
nice hunt rob every time someone find silver nickels remind me the day i got 20 nickels rolls from a bank and found 29 silver nickels have not happen again lol
Wow! Nice score and you never know when the next one is!

Amazing that some people would spend a ASE for face value.....😮😮
@scottbrennan7686 this is the second time I've had it happen and I've been able to get them at face.
@@tylerhutton4429 Getting an ASE at face would make my entire day!🙂
Belfium is 1 franc is an French version of the coin.
You should do a buffalo nickel book
5:52 That's a 36-S, your eyes okay Rob? 😅
I know. I blew it.
@@RobFindsTreasure It's time for some cheater glasses.
I just found a 1964 Silver dime in the Coinstar machine at Safeway and a starfish 1 euro coin
Rob, how do you stay so organized?
Rob, before you knew how low the mintages for the 2024 nickels were, did you get a lot 2024’s that you cashed in and/or any solid 2024 boxes?
Nope. I have not got any this year!
Foreign coin from 1952 is a Belgian 1 Franc
Belgian 1 Franc is not Silver sadly.
Also, there is a hilarious place you would not think exists:
Nickel City
The place is a gaming center that uses nickels. Been there myself.
what part of the country are you getting these nickel boxes
Great nickel hunt RFT and what do you do with the random tokens you find?
Add them to my foreign and token jar.
1936 D or 1936 S? It looked like an S to me, but I'm not there. Nice hunt!
I thought it was a S too.
It was a 1936 S, you got it!
Do you ever keep out the 2009 nickels?
Yes I have 2000 of them!
@@RobFindsTreasure1/2grand
Hey Rob, what would you consider a decent price for buffalo nickels? I got 80 for 50 cents each but I'm not sure if that was a good price.
If dated and not corroded, then that is a good deal for sure.
Do you make this year a 2024-wrapped video?
I believe the 1936 buffalo actually has an S mintmark not a D.
It is. I blew it.
I’m pretty sure the 36 buffalo nickel was a San Francisco
Yep
Give the Six Flags token to Chalani. Tell her its good for a "log ride."
LOL
Not very long ago I ordered a random Barber quarter and got a semi key date 1905 P. Worth about $20? condition is G4.
I also really like your junk silver hunts.😁
2:25 NAHHH THEY ONLY MINTED 32MILL
I know foreign coins, and can confirm that was a 1952 Belgian 1 franc coin.
Great first nickle hunt...2025 is going to be great
2025 is the year of the genie
I think the 1936 Buffalo is an S not a D?
You are correct!
Do u still look for 2009s😅those 24s 120.00 for a roll😅😅
Yep
my eyes seen a 1936 s, not d... maybe im getting old...
No. I am getting old. It was an S.
that was a 1936 s
log ride worth $2.00
The Buffalo is a 1936 s, not 1936 d.
Yep!
1936 s
Yep!
Nice hunt to start nickels off for 2025.
For sure brother!

I've got 5 boxes on order, they're coming in on Tuesday, hope I can match your finds at least, good hunt.
