2023 and just took mine of shelf(sitting 2years) and ordered some vanquish arms and brass weights on wheel hub a lighter battery up top and taking her out again!!! It can still compete somewhat with today vehicles.

Is throttle control that hard with your rig? Seems like your blipping the throttle a lot in slow crawls. Just asking, was into the first gen and wanna get back into it in 2021.

Hey man if you are keeping the spare wheel off you can use a grinder and cut it off it really does help

You can just remove the 4 screws that hold the back of the cage together and remove the spare tire assembly
