After realizing he needed help in 2001, Ben has visited and left many rehabilitation institutions in an attempt to beat his alcoholism. The end of his marriage to Jennifer Garner, he said, was due to his alcoholism. Jennifer Lopez then went on a promotional tour for the brand and told the press that drinking allows her to "relax and let loose."
