When one partner isn't fully committed to spending their life together or is instead taking advantage of the other’s financial resources for comfort, it can lead to scammed situations. It's unfortunate that she found herself caught in such a jealous and fraudulent network. A talented and beautiful woman, and arguably much smarter than Garner, she could have used more insight into relationships.
