@@freddiem6805 C2 isn’t necessary for dps shogun, mine is c0 and I’ve hit 350k which is a little less then my Hu Tao. Don’t even have c6 kujou

What do you think about getting 5 masterless star glitter for a dupe C6 character? I think it’s too little. I always mention it in the surveys.
As a relatively small spender (probably spent like $400 over the year and a half) it feels like a total slap in the face that you can buy a 10 pull (or save the free promogems for like 2 weeks) and only get a *single pull* as a consolation, which is most likely going to be blue trash.
I think 5 masterless and at least 1 free fate (of whatever you pulled) would be much less demoralizing. I’ve basically got C20 Diona, Xingqiu, and Sucrose at this point. Feelsbadman

Yes!!!!! It’s bull , fr they should figure a way that those characters won’t even come for u anymore or something idk ugh. I guess that wouldn’t rly work bc some ppl have every 4 star c6 but I agree something needs to change for the better!
It’s such a slap in the face. It’s essentially, “better luck next time!” Then you have to do 10 entire pulls just to guarantee what you just lost in the last entirely trash 10 pull. It’d be nice if it just gave some kinda special wish that’ll just reroll a 4 star, but it’d cut in to their profits too much to implement

My first 5 star was ganyu and then i grinded for hu tao 24/7 lost the 50/50 and stopped playing the game haha ganyu op
did 30 wishes with 60 pity, i made sure to get to 75 pity and do a 10 wish, xiangling then raiden, THEN keqing who’s my main in one wish, and i won’t have the 50/50 because i got keqing second
I did 70 wishes with 5 pity, just got Kujou, did 1 more wish, and then got Raiden
That’s what happened to me w yoimiya!!!!! I got keqing right after so I had my guarantee for raiden

Was simply lucky today.
...Also used up all of my primos and other pulling resources (Int fates, paimon shop fates, BP, etc) in Baal's banner (so 27K primos gathered from about 6 months of events, daiies, welkin moon, BP, and any other free gems mIhoyo gave us...though i did use about 100 pulls for some weapon banners and Yoimiya in that said period so would've had about 35 to 40K if i didn't pull on them)..also used 20 on the weapon banner (granted 1 10 pull was deliberate...the second was on accident when i thought i was on Baal's banner lol) and wound up getting her to C2 as well as Diluc to C1 (with that said...won the 50/50 5 times in a row until Diluc in the character banner and won the 50/50s on the weapon banner for every 5* featured weapon i got on it...though i did get Elegy of the End and Song of Broken Pines when i didn't really want them while trying to increase pity...though in the end any 5* weapon is still a boost in damage for me in the end as i only have 7 and all at refine 1).
So ya happy that her DPS will be broken (will be using The Catch for her weapon once i get it) due to C2...granted in an ideal world i'd have C3 baal since that'll let me push her burst beyond level 10 to 13 for even more Burst damage...but i also want a reasonable shot at getting Kokomi (the last Inzuma character i want that we know about from official sources and leaks)...if i don't get Kokomi in the end though i'll live and just hoard gems from 2.2 to 3.0/Sumer update or for a Dendro character if they release one before Sumeru...may buy the $30 top up at most since after doing the match i should be able to get about 40 pulls before Kokomi's banner ends via welkin moon, BP, dailies, events, quests, and any other free ways to generate primos so that $30 option should be able to get me up to about 60 to 70 pity and i may be able to get another 10 from any starglitter i get from those pulls...so i just got to hope i win the 50/50 and i don't need to go to hard pity to get her (would be better off paying the $50 to $60 or so dollar top up option at that point)...if i lose the 50/50 after using a lot of gems though then ya, she's not getting in my party...at least not until a re-run...now if i lose the 50/50 in say my next 10 pull though i may be willing to go to hard pity to get her as i will be gauranteed her at that point...but after 20 pulls the chance of getting her after losing a 50/50 are far too low imo.

Is Genshin's lore good? I'm a longtime League player nearing abandoning ship, what with its degrading lore and terrible game (but LoR is great tho), and I'm tempted to switch to Genshin. I see it's a very scenic game, non-toxic (except to wallet), and good depth. I see that people appreciate its good writing enough to look past the gacha element.
Is this game worth selling my soul to?
I'm someone very new to the videogame scene, and Genshin's lore has drawn me in like very few books and shows have! The premise is interesting and the lore you find out along the way is very interesting, too. I love the association of regions/elements and how each region draws their inspiration from countries all around the world. I also enjoy the variety of characters (both in weapons and personality/story). The latest archon quest was my favorite by far, but all the others were super fun.
Right now I'm F2P because broke, but I've sold my soul to this game anyways. I also think it's decently beginner friendly and does a great job introducing you to all the mechanics!

The lore is interesting, and occasionally pretty amazing, but most of it is kind of hidden in long text boxes of small little books and item descriptions and details found in the open world. There is a lot you have to piece together on your own or find explanations of online, as it’s quite a lot of stuff scattered around the game. However, at the end of the day this is a gacha game, and Genshin has very predatory practices to sap as much player money as possible, much more than LoL. Though if you have a lot of self restraint or disposable income, then by all means Genshin is great
