The breakers is our home away from home. And FYI, if you stay at any of the breakers buildings, you don't have to pay for that parking garage!
That is all we need, sitting on the throne doing your business and seeing our beautiful little child eye ball looking at you! 😂😂👍

We stayed at the Breakers just on the south side of this one back in February’21. It was very nice there and free parking. And really enjoyed the inside pool. This place looks interesting but the bathroom door would be a problem. And it would be great if the closet and air conditioner could switch sides. That way when you laying in bed you can look straight out the window without any obstructions. Just a thought. Parking fee is a little much. Thanks for the video.
We stayed here last summer and it was wonderful. Nice and new and clean. Loved all the lounging areas around the lobby, we would get Starbucks every morning and sit and watch tv in the cozy booths and there are tons of fire tables to choose from at night. I’m very picky when it comes to hotels and I love this one. We’ll be staying here this summer as well. I did notice that the bathroom doors don’t lock but I never noticed the crack where you can see through. I do think they need more foot washing stations down at the beach access area.
Wow, the rooms seem really wild. And have to agree ya" gotta have a good bed to sleep in heehee ...Its cool they can use the pools too from Breakers. Nice share!

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I stayed at the Breakers Resort for nearly 20 years, but over the last year or two they’ve really raised their and they priced me out. Such a shame because I love the place.
The beds are very uncomfortable and the 20 dollar a night parking fee is the only complaint I have . I stayed in the Marriott side and was very pleased with my room the balcony was the bast part of the room and the employees was exceptional if you had any issue they where on top of it. The bathroom in my suite on the Marriott courtyard side was not like the one on the Springhill side and if you stayed on the courtyard side the breakfast was not free like on the Springhill side.
Imagine going to a resort/hotel, and paying not just for the privilege of staying in the room, but also to be able to park at it... Junk fees. What a shame.
I really enjoy your videos and just finished watching one on the Marriott at Grand Dunes. We used to frequently stay at the Seahawk and I appreciate your postings on progress in redevelopment. I'd like to recommend you do a video on the Residence Inn at about 25th Ave. South. Reserve an oceanfront room and I think you'll be impressed. I'll be looking for it! Again, thanks for your posts. They're all interesting.

Ocean enclave much better and with free parking and better in general.
I like ocean enclave as well but they do also charge for parking, it’s in the resort fee.
I agree with you, but I think the appeal to staying here is that you get to use Breakers’ amenities (the main draw is probably their water slides. Breakers has great water slides and there still aren’t too many hotels down at MB that have them yet. Hoping that Ocean Enclave will eventually get a couple of them.)
We do not stay anyplace that charges for parking!! Thats just dumb!!!!!

Almost all of the hotels we like at Myrtle Beach charge for parking, but yes, I agree that it is dumb. Charging paying guests for parking obviously doesn’t stop some random person from parking there, which is what they claim they’re trying to accomplish through the parking fees. I’ll tell you what it really is: a money making scheme. The only way to prevent people who are not staying at a resort from parking in the hotel’s parking garage is if you have to pay a toll to get into the parking garage or if you have to show your card to get into the parking garage (Dunes Village and South Bay do this, so they don’t charge extra for parking.)

Is it me, or are the Myrtle Beach Marriott properties underwhelming and lackluster? This property is nice, but the rooms aren’t offering much.
Boring room , much like a lot of the hotels here in Las Vegas going with this plain trend . $20 for parking is another trend , here in Las Vegas you pay for self park and valet . I thought it was stupid when I came down to Myrtle Beach a few years ago and they were charging Resort Fees even for the Mom and Pop places . Visitors to Vegas hate this and I'm sure they hate it there too ! No tub either is a trend , but some families may not like this for small children that take baths . I personally wouldn't stay here and I work for the Bellagio Hotel and Casino which is a 5 Diamond Hotel . I would rather stay somewhere like Coral Beach Resort which I stayed at last year and was reasonably priced , clean , and friendly . I even made a TH-cam Video about my stay there . Check it out if you like .
6:21 goshorn that part of the video I almost had a panic attack because I thought you were going to drop whatever you are using like like a phone or camera or something like that I felt like you were going to drop in and I was like oh my God please don't drop it if you do want to have a panic attack😢😢😢
I think Breakers is paying the Franchise fee to slap name on building. I laugh if there was breaker branded soap in bathroom
I feel that change in M/B happens almost as fast as in Vegas!....ps, "Long live Tony"?...makes me think it was a celebration of life with possibly his ashes being deposited there!....not legal, mind you.

@@MrMyrtleI have seen some hotels with these Barn doors with seals along with locks for the doors. Hotels would want to consider them
