The only thing I'd add is a portable air compressor.
I recommend the super Flo brand. They're small, light and hook up to anything with a battery cars, trucks, riding mowers etc.

A little late but you should look into getting a power tank or a on board air compressor in your truck I run one and it’s a life saver for just airing up a flat on trucks or dirtbikes and you can run air tools from in a pinch

you should look into a chest protector for the dirt bike ride. my buddy was on a trail in the dark and a stick stuck through his ribs stuck in his lung out his back if he didnt have a friend with him he would have expired on the trail, as we get older we get smarter especially us who have children.
    thats what your forgetting !!!

Nice video and equipment. I always forget something as well. This year? My high end pants. Just had one pair of jeans. #Idiot
I didn't see chains and tow straps. Winch. We pulled some guy this 3rd season elk in Colorado off the side of a near vertical drop that wasn't equipped and in deep snow.

To be honest I disagree with this being a single or double. For me this video is a home run. Full setup breakdowns, that go into depth on everything they bring and WHY they bring it, are the best content for this time of year. If I were to add anything I would say tire chains for at least two tires. Tire chains on a slick muddy road are unbelievably effective. If you are expecting heavy rain or a bad storm overnight you could run a tarp from you truck rack to stakes in the ground to give you a little protection over your canvas sleep system. Also that "Backup Bow" is no doubt a lifesaver. Woke up to a Cracked limb at 9500 ft first morning of Idaho Elk hunt last year.... drove to Rexburg...Shout out to Mountain Archery for opening the shop early to hook me up with a new bow to get me back out in the field. On long trips...it can definitely be the difference between a major catastrophe or just an annoying occurrence. If you think about it, even if you get $900 for a used bow, that's way less than you would spend to save a multi-thousand $$ hunt. Great video Dan!!

I’m a mechanic so just some thoughts on truck repair stuff.
    Some extra hose clamps
Radiator stop leak it’s not a permanent fix but it will help get you to a shop fill radiator with water if you loose coolant.
You drive a Chevy so metric wrenches 6mm-24mm and impact sockets with a impact wrench 3/8 drive would be fine dewalt makes a decent one.
    Screwdrivers
A spare fan belt ( best practice is replace your current belt or belts and keep the old ones to use in a pinch.)
Not sure if it’s in there already but a tire plug kit and 12v air compressor hooks to the 12v outlet in truck.
    14 gage wire and connectors
    Tube of red RTV silicone
    Zip ties
Great video definitely got some stuff added to my packing list. Good luck this fall

Might have missed it but a tarp to throw up or attach to one side of the truck with sticks to make food or get out of the weather/sun. And a letterman that has the ability to change bits they make little kits with different bits and Allen keys that fit it plus all the other stuff on it. That’s what I carry and I have a set of folding Allen’s for back up. I also take a conceal carry pistol as back up to my open carry on my chest rig for the 2 legged wannabe predators

I don't know if this will get to you Dan, but I'll try anyways. Coming from someone that spends countless hours offroad. Either normal everyday life, hunting, farming, or even offroad racing spend some money and buy a Pro Eagle jack for your truck. You will thank me every single time you have to use it. It's designed to be used offroad. It rolls over gravel, dirt, rock, or whatever. If you use it once or twice it'll be well worth it. Especially with a lifted truck.

May have missed it, but I always carry some extra boot laces and 100ft of 550 cord in my pack. Also keep an extra pair of boots and insoles in the truck. One thing I've learned over the years hunting the Arizona desert and high country, you can hunt, for the most part, with a minor injury on most places on your body however if you mess up your feet in the middle of a hunt you are pretty much screwed. Best of luck with all your hunts this year and stay safe out there.

I’m not sure what drill you are running, but make sure it’s an impact if it isn’t already. Then add a 3/8 socket adapter for the impact and ensure you have sockets for all of your lug nut sizes. Keep the tire iron as a backup or final torque.
Rubber patch kit if it’s not already in your totes
