Great content! I just started shooting indoor targets a few months ago. I am using my back up hunting bow, shooting in a Bowhunter/Fixed pin class. I think it would be worth you mentioning this option as it may appeal to archers who can’t or do not want to invest in target equipment starting out. I appreciate your channel!
Im so glad i seen the video. Ive notice by changing my dot to a smaller one for indoor or 3D helped. Now for feild shoots i use either my one pin sight or target (uv3xl dot.
Bro is my hero!!! I’m only 7 but I’m studying the greats so one day I can be in the conversation!!! I started on a PSE micro Midas however now I’m moving up to a prime nxt !! Thanks for the advice!!!
Would love to see a play list of these videos year over year. I am curious to hear more about the life continuing while your life stands still. I have never heard that theory but have experienced it and am super interested to hear what you know about it from your own experience experience and the lady in the wheel chair
Interested to know if Bodie uses a dot at Lancaster especially in the shoot-up where the 12 ring is in play? If so, is it the same size Joel mentioned, slightly smaller than the 10 ring? Or does he go slightly smaller?? Great video Dan, can’t go wrong having the Turners giving you target advice!!! Thank-you, great info!!!
As much as people love the single under-nocking point, I still won't "believe" it is better then a 3:6 (approx) top and bottom arrangement. It's the same effect as the single under the 100% more consistency over time and it allows you to micro tune your loop length with greater ease.
Hey Dan I been in a slump this year and could not figure out what I was doing wrong on my setup. My father looked at me when I said this and instantly noticed my peep was too high for me to find reference so I was free floating. Now on my phase 4 29 I’m struggling for sight clearance after changing my peep I lost 20yards of clearance and I’m running a three pin redline slider that is arrow and rest is level thru the riser hole
Can you explain why you took the brass weight off the Title? I‘ve heard that more than once now and always thought, that a heavy bow has advantages in target archery.
Make the bow itself weigh less, and take that same weight (8oz) and move it away from the bow (end of the bars) and it will have more affect on aiming at the same overall weight. 8oz on the end of a 30" bar is way harder to get to move through torque etc than 8oz directly under and inline with your hand. If he left the brass on he would probably still have the same weight on the stabs for pin float and recoil management, but with an extra ½ lb which is more taxing on the front arm.
Bodie, how do you shoot, how does your father teach you, or in your own way, like command shooting or something? He probably made you do push-ups if you didn't shoot well.) I doubt today that his method is the best. At least for me.
Bodie's joke about the rest of the rings on the Vegas face are for bare bows had me snorting
Please more videos with bodie good info!!!
The bonus footy is exactly what I have been wanting to hear from JT. Thank you!

Been waiting for this after the teaser from the last video
Right indoor and left outdoor? I gotta gear why
Hey just a thought, I was looking at Temu, you should compare broadheads you’ve used vs temus top rated broadheads just for fun!
Love the videos with you, Joel and Bodie Turner, thanks alot, and I love all your tinkering :) Does Bodie shoot magnification when he is shooting 3D?

Crazy good video. I was taking notes on a youtube video!
Beiter hunter nocks are the shiz. Been shooting only them for years.
Why fletch right for indoor and left for outdoors?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Always loved a dot over pin but im bowhunter you are not allowed to have a lens

Be ready to change your center serving if you shoot Beiter nocks.
This fellow Dan is acting as if he doesn't know anything about targets.
