What I find so sad about this is that nobody noticed either girl missing for 2 years did nobody come to see these girls for a birthday Christmas just heartbreaking 😭

A lot of people failed these kids. CPS, the school system, the mother, the father, relatives no one protected these kids. It's so sad what happened to them. They are with the angels now.
But why everyone blaming CPS?😩 CPS ain’t called until prompted to call.. they don’t just go knocking on ppl door. The school should have called CPS because the children were missing from school for months without notice.

I went through physical, sexual and and emotional abuse and God blessed me with 2 beautiful children that I adore. Abusing them making them feel less than human is not even a thought. She could have reached out to many people if she wanted to get help. To the father's out there please get and stay involved in your children's lives.

There is no way the kid was molested. She made it up to somehow save herself by justifying the killings. Would you keep on molesting your brother knowing that your other brother got killed for it and worse, his body is in the freezer for you to remember every day. Why didn't the other kid accused his sister of being the instigator before he died. And how did she find out that the girl was abusing her dead brother? And most importantly, when she condensed to the crime she was constantly asked what did they say when you asked them if they did it, she couldn't answer. She was dancing around the question. Until she was pressured to answer and she says, my daughter said no! You need all that time and she only said no. When she killed her daughter she said that she asked her to apologize to his little brother, and in this question she was asked what did she say? She doesn't answer until she is asked again... The answer is a No. Yeah, somehow she confesses to have molested her two brothers after denying it for so long to the point that her mother had to beat the confession out of her. So , to stop the abuse she confesses and somehow she was dumb enough to defy her crazy mother by refusing to apologize knowing that she is going to be brutally beaten for it.... No way she is lying.

Yeah she didn't blame everyone but you have to remember that what happens during your adolescent years can affect you. Not giving her an excuse but there were signs women are blamed for everything no one ever says why didn't the father of these children take their children they never do. It could be that the father was just as abusive you never know 🤷🏿 everybody is to blame we never check up on them the school's know about this abuse I worked at a school where a young lady was telling me her mom's boyfriend was abusing her and you know what the principal said to me that's none of our business.

The oldest daughter has said that her mother became obsessed with the notion that the siblings had sexually assaulted the youngest brother, and she started basically interrogating the youngest. I think Mitchelle Blair convinced herself that this happened to justify her actions.
I was molested at 12 by my dad's good friend. The hardest part was when my parents told me " That it was my fault". But, this event caused me to be a better parent to my children. I even told my father years later that this event broke my heart. I still have trust issues. But, I would never turn my back on my children , and I will always protect them , and keep a line of open communication , and furthermore I built a loving safe home. I even took in my brother who is 18 years younger then myself and he has a terminal issue. My parents decided that they were to old too raise another child. I don't know how some people can live with themselves , and still look in the mirror and call themselves people.
And don't! My 13 y.o. just spent $147 in IMVU credits using my GooglePay account...yes, I wanted to take her out! But the Mother in me wouldn't ever lay a hand on my baby so she's banned from using the phone and 100 sentences. She had choices but chose murder. I feel nothing for her, only her children!

I’ve read many many books with this happening to kids and my mind can’t comprehend the pain and suffering because I’ve never went thru it. What I can see is pain and disbelief and wish I could help any and all that went or is going through this. It's tragic how the pain and trauma of a young child can destroy the lives of their children so many years later. I wish there was more help for abused children.

Mitchell Blair seems to have had such a tough and painful childhood and life after. Nobody was there for her and it turned her angry and resentful. Untreated pain can drive a person insane. It's really sad. She took it out on her kids.

I don’t think she sexually assaulted them, but I think they were introduced to sexuality extremely early since she has deep seated issues about rape. The children were beaten their whole life in my opinion, I had a similar upbringing except sexual deviation towards me or anyone else.
The younger child hadn't any sign that could prove that he was abused. What's more, when u do something because u are angry, you do it without thinking twice. She planned the murder of her children and she tortured them. I have 2 theories about this case: 1.She is a psychopath and she did it for pleasure. She wanted them to suffer as she suffered in her childhood. 2. She abused them, then she killed them because she was afraid that they could tell it to someone. And in both cases she probably planned to use the excuse that they abused her younger son to get a shorter sentence.

Completely agree with her attorney. The father’s, the school, the families …. They all failed these kids. All of it was a recipe for complete disaster. Abuse, sexual abuse, mental health issues, social issues … this was all horrible. I’m glad Mitchelle took responsibility for her actions, and will serve her time. But they all have those babies blood on their hands.

You know I was obsessed with case for awhile and it almost tormented me. But seeing the judge give her final word one last time gave me closure. I do keep everyone involved in this tragic case in my prayers. Maybe in another life, they can all be happy.

I've come across some creeps who claim that their deviant behavior / mentality is because of their childhood. I asked : Why didn't you tell a family member, teacher or police? There was no response. But after seeing this unconscionable madness, I now believe that their abuse never happened. And the fact that these creeps are actively trying to lure people into such horrific criminal acts, leads me to believe that their " stories" are only a ploy to both justify their actions are only geared toward creating sympathy for them if they are ever caught. She did NOT believe the abuse happened. She tormented a 5 year old for DAYS until he said yes. It gave her the justification to then go on and torture her own flesh and blood to death. Do NOT excuse what she did. There is no justification!

Good, decent people break the cycle of abuse. They don't perpetuate it. Decent people have enough empathy to remember how their own abuse made them feel so they wouldn't want others to feel that way. This monster not only killed her very own God given children. She also tortured them for an extended period of time. Cold blooded murder AND heinous acts committed against her own children. The fact that she didn't get the death penalty is astounding. Our justice system is turning away from the death penalty, and, as a stoic supporter of the death penalty, I believe this is part of the reason why crimes in our society are only getting worse. If people like this want to behave like animals, then they should be treated as such. I will always believe in "an eye for an eye". No one will ever change my mind about that.

Just retired from 25 years of working with Child Protective Services supporting case workers. 25 years and I never stopped being amazed at the horror "we" visit upon our own children. One of the signs that a species is in distress is that they kill their own young - among other things. This woman is a monster, no denying that. I truly believe that whatever has happened to you (or me) when we become adults, we are responsible for our actions, regardless of the reasons. I learned that there are reasons for child or elder abuse, but it is not an excuse. Those poor children; it is hard to imagine but I've seen worse - think about that - become a foster or adoptive parent, become a big sister or big brother. Try to do something to actually help kids like these. If nothing else, love you own kids, take care of them as they are precious, and if you need help ASK FOR IT
What I find so sad about this is that nobody noticed either girl missing for 2 years did nobody come to see these girls for a birthday Christmas just heartbreaking 😭

So , to stop the abuse she confesses and somehow she was dumb enough to defy her crazy mother by refusing to apologize knowing that she is going to be brutally beaten for it.... No way she is lying.

I was molested at 12 by my dad's good friend. The hardest part was when my parents told me " That it was my fault". But, this event caused me to be a better parent to my children. I even told my father years later that this event broke my heart. I still have trust issues. But, I would never turn my back on my children , and I will always protect them , and keep a line of open communication , and furthermore I built a loving safe home. I even took in my brother who is 18 years younger then myself and he has a terminal issue. My parents decided that they were to old too raise another child. I don't know how some people can live with themselves , and still look in the mirror and call themselves people.

The younger child hadn't any sign that could prove that he was abused. What's more, when u do something because u are angry, you do it without thinking twice. She planned the murder of her children and she tortured them. I have 2 theories about this case: 1.She is a psychopath and she did it for pleasure. Completely agree with her attorney. The father’s, the school, the families …. They all failed these kids. All of it was a recipe for complete disaster. Abuse, sexual abuse, mental health issues, social issues … this was all horrible. I’m glad Mitchelle took responsibility for her actions, and will serve her time. But they all have those babies blood on their hands.

I've come across some creeps who claim that their deviant behavior / mentality is because of their childhood. I asked : Why didn't you tell a family member, teacher or police? There was no response. But after seeing this unconscionable madness, I now believe that their abuse never happened. And the fact that these creeps are actively trying to lure people into such horrific criminal acts, leads me to believe that their " stories" are only a ploy to both justify their actions are only geared toward creating sympathy for them if they are ever caught.

The fact that she didn't get the death penalty is astounding. Our justice system is turning away from the death penalty, and, as a stoic supporter of the death penalty, I believe this is part of the reason why crimes in our society are only getting worse.

Just retired from 25 years of working with Child Protective Services supporting case workers. 25 years and I never stopped being amazed at the horror "we" visit upon our own children. One of the signs that a species is in distress is that they kill their own young - among other things. This woman is a monster, no denying that. I truly believe that whatever has happened to you (or me) when we become adults, we are responsible for our actions, regardless of the reasons. I learned that there are reasons for child or elder abuse, but it is not an excuse. Those poor children; it is hard to imagine but I've seen worse - think about that - become a foster or adoptive parent, become a big sister or big brother. Try to do something to actually help kids like these. If nothing else, love you own kids, take care of them as they are precious, and if you need help ASK FOR IT
