No hate though, it's genuinely charming in a way.
I'm pretty computer illiterate but back when I read this story I noticed that and then charitably imagined it was the author having to run a .bat file which displayed a command prompt screen when it started and since Windows XP's comnand prompt was funky that particular file only worked with Dosbox somehow

The next thing I can recall then is it was Summer suddenly and
I was not only uninstalling the game but tearing the HDD from my PC at
the time, taking a hammer to it them dousing it in oil-gas for our lawn
mower. Dad, kept in in a Frenches mustard bottle, it was slick and
greasy, hated holding it but I needed fire and had no destruction magic on this plane to speak of. I think I got grounded but
my head finally felt clear and free. Even after all these years, some
times I'll wake from the dream hearing that NPCs voice, slick and knowing, asking me if I
could give them her name.. but I never have an answer and longed for one
too just so I could end the loop. I have lost some summers to other games but I remember them the play
the story, this mod is just mostly, an empty gap.
Please, do not seek it out or play it. You won't be as lucky as myself or Dagoth were. That dead end I hit might have saved my life, curses can be real. This video is a warning. We barely got out and not unscathed, stay away. Save yourselves. Please
I swear to God, I thought this was an actual narration or an impersonation.

Until I heard the "FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK"
