Hello, nice restoration! Your pocket knive is Polish Gerlach. This company produces knives since 1760. The one you got is probably from late 70s and was made in Drzewica or Legnica. It would be amazing to know the story of your knife- how it came from Poland to USA, but we probably never get to know...

foreign trade association) "Dal" started production of metal products in Ghana (sic!), so among others pocketknifes have been sold to third world countrys. Maybe it came to America in Nigerian citizen pocket ;)

An Original Polish "Gerlach"(ex-East Prussia) from 20ies and 30ies, or so called "eod"-pocket knife. An average middle-European soldier from an engineering unit was obligated to carry one of those. With a pair of special pliers obviously.

Now that is a restoration! Didn't take away from the age but functional and will be that way for quite a while! Nicely Done, Koss. Don't see that type with the triangle awl much anymore, think they were used in leather work¿ What was the brand of it...Jerlach "PN"...couldn't make it out after cleanup?

Didn’t know that was an awl. Originally I thought it must be a marlinspike or fid, but it wasn’t rounded. Strange.
The correct brand name is GERLACH. It is a Polish manufacturer of knives and cutlery. Established in 1760, works until now.

Haha, this ebay seller is pretty crazy with that price ;) Its not german pocket knife, but Polish Gerlach. Its worth between 5 and 10 dolars. And its certainly not from ww2, but rather from 1980s :D

Hey, so I have a German copy of a Antonius Stradivarius, it’s been in my family for quite some time and has taken quite a bit of damage, I want to have it restored but I am unsure as to who and where. I do not have the money to fix it up and was hoping to get some tips on how to repair it

The pointy thing is called a FID. It used to splice ropes on boats. Did you know that?

What's that second large utensil? Looks like a bayonet but I doubt it is one
