Whenever I fought the Gunkers, I always laughed at the "HNNNNNNNNNNNH" sound that they made when they died. Always sounded like they were taking the biggest shit imaginable.
I never noticed that the blade arm was a butcher blade. I always thought it was a sharpened chunk of chitin. You have blown my mind lol. It's too early for this. X'D
I feel stupid, I’ve been playing Gears for so long and Gear 3 was my favourite and for some reason I never saw the butcher blade in his arm. Great video as ever
I feel like there should’ve been more Gunker types. Imagine a Mauler Gunker (The Boomers with shields). It’s got its giant arm with its old shield imbedded into it covering its weak point meanwhile the explosive mace it wielded before transforming has its explosive radius increased due to the fact that the Lambents are explosive and corrosive in nature. Love the Lambents but I felt they needed more variety with enemies. Also it’s Imulsion btw not Emulsion
They might of had different types but maybe it was designed not to have multiple types since the weapons of the boomers did vary from boomer to boomer since multiple boomers with different armaments could be seen on the battlefield at the same time, having multiple types of gunkers might of made a creature already a bit of a threat a bit too much to deal with especially since you're forced to fight one a very tightly packed segment of Gears 3.
The problem was that epic is an engine developer first that had a small team that would make unreal tournament to show off new engines and major updates. One of their unreal tournament builds became gears of war. Eventually they transferred the gears rights to Microsoft with a few gears writers and Microsoft dropped the ball and made a tolerable but mainly focused on multiplayer and loot boxes with a broken natural unlock system and overall trash matchmaking similar to halo 5. Microsoft also did a master chief collection quality job when making the gears of war ultimate edition which had skin dlc because they wanted to sell dlc for a game of they year edition game. So blame Microsoft for putting greed over unique characters.
I'm enjoying your content quite a lot and was wondering if you were planning on doing some videos on the Swarm (GOW 4, 5, and assumedly 6 enemies) after you're finished with the Lambent/other projects.

How to take down a Gunker in insane? 1.Equip a grenade 2.Rush to to Gunker while zig zaging its attackes 3. Press B with the grenade 4. Zig zag away while avoiding fire

Also, don't sweat 40K, the games kinda misrepresent it anyway (1 ork choppa squad with a nob butchering 1 tactical marine squad with a sarge, like in Dawn of War Dark Crusade? Yeah, in their wettest dreams maybe...) due to the hilarious power level difference depictions in the lore. Consider this: an Astartes is supposedly so bloody fast, that as he fires the full auto bolter [don't get me started on that diamond tipped full auto .75 cal grenade launcher] he can literally aim for and successfully make a headshot. With each shot. Under fire from machineguns. Without cover. In a full faced helmet. With an iron sight. At this point the closes video game reference I have for this level of bullshittery is DOOMSLAYER+aimbot+health*10+armour*10.

I'm certain in game context it would be accurate, but in lore context, not necessarily. If you want to, you can make it clear that you simply go after what's apparent in game, and that lore might be significantly different, or do it side by side (which is a massive upping of the work needed). But of course, this is your channel, with the current methodology I'm fairly certain you'd get views whatever you are doing.
Probably main reason they are so capable with their guns is because their helmets come with data displays and their eyes have a graft to improve sight. Not to mention their armor is actually linked to their nervous system so every little movement is picked up by the armor and acts like a second skin made of plasteel, ceramite, and adamantium. While they can sound badass, one does have to remember their world is so messed up that the Space Marines are more often super mooks. They only look seriously badass when you compare them to unmodified humans.
i meant as in how its body functions where it came from what can it do that's unique pretty much just a regular video but on the Leviathan, I was pretty much just saying it would be cool if Roanoke could cover it.

One thing that doesn't make sense about the Gunker, because how in hell can it still keep its pants and boots on, it would just break because of the increase in mass when transformed. This is just a little note that doesn't affect the game at all.
looks like the legs did increase in size but I imagine because of the nature of legs and how armor must flex to stay on them, the armor expanded with the legs, maybe that's why the creature lumbers because the armor has been pushed out so much it has become rigid
Imulsion reminds me a bit of Tiberium. Like Tiberium, when it is detonated by the light mass weapon, it increases contamination (Tiberium contamination was increased when an Ion cannon hit a particularly concetrated deposit of tiberium, I think liquid tiberium). Like tiberium, imulsion is an important resource.
Gunkers are some difficult enemies to kill. I only know this because I played through the entire game in 8 hours, but yeah, Gunkers are a tough enemy, until you get farther into the game.
That's not bad, it was the next generation! But I would recommend playing 1-3 itll make the story way better as youll recognize why the interactions are the way they are!
It would have been super cool but i can see why some of the mechanics that the lambent have would have been difficult to implement into beast mode. Also keep up the good stuff im waiting to see what monstrosity you do next for your morphology review.

One thing that doesn't make sense about the Gunker, because how in hell can it still keep its pants and boots on, it would just break because of the increase in mass when transformed. This is just a little note that doesn't affect the game at all.
looks like the legs did increase in size but I imagine because of the nature of legs and how armor must flex to stay on them, the armor expanded with the legs, maybe that's why the creature lumbers because the armor has been pushed out so much it has become rigid

Imulsion reminds me a bit of Tiberium. Like Tiberium, when it is detonated by the light mass weapon, it increases contamination (Tiberium contamination was increased when an Ion cannon hit a particularly concetrated deposit of tiberium, I think liquid tiberium). Like tiberium, imulsion is an important resource.

Gunkers are some difficult enemies to kill. I only know this because I played through the entire game in 8 hours, but yeah, Gunkers are a tough enemy, until you get farther into the game.
