- Toyota Fortuner is a mid-size SUV body on frame. The Fortuner is built on the Hilux pickup truck platform (Toyota IMV platform). this generation is a "Second generation" which starting in 2015 to present.
this Fortuner is a facelift model which features a new front-end and rear bumper design, a new headlights and tail lights, new wheels design and new instrument cluster.
Both the Fortuner and Hilux share the transmission and engine together with two diesel engines (1GD-FTV 2.8Litre and 2GD-FTV 2.4Litre). The 2.7-litre and 4.0-litre petrol engines were available with Dual VVT-i. The second generation Fortuner features a part-time 4WD system instead of the full-time 4WD system used in the previous generation. This particular car is a 2.4Litre Diesel 4WD, so it come with 150 PS and 400 N-m torque mated to 6-speed automatic transmission

would this be possible of a separate driver control of each door lock to protect from sudden entry of unwanted person when remotely unlocking the car from the parking lot from the other door
i think it might be possible, since i have try other Toyota car and it can select either unlock all doors or just only driver's door but you need to setting on a key fob.

Tamara Jorjor Unlikely to come to the United States, as there is already the 4Runner which is based on the Tacoma. If they bring the Fortuner there, they would axe the former.
Victor Torres I love the 4-Runner but the engine is huge 4.0L and under 20-mile per gallon is just a gas thirsty car :( I wish it was 3.5 V6 and at least 6 speed automatic transmission rather than the 5. :( I live in California and we drive a lot and gas is expensive
