And many games in general that are based on animes sometimes do very well. DBZ Kakarot, One Piece Odyssey, the many entries of Naruto games, etc. Hopefully, one day, a developer will pick up on this.
@@smallspritetv I really do hope so, it would be awesome to see the moon kingdom, crystal Tokyo etc in a game with the graphics we have now. I’d picture the graphics would be similar to Tales of Arise, but alas it is a dream haha
This is so cool! I heard of it, but I haven't seen this much game footage, so thank you. My ideal Sailor Moon game would be made by Nihom Falcom and imitate the ARPG style of Ys 8. Really make the characters work for their attacks, and have side quests with guest characters from the series like the Spectre Sisters, The four generals, Sapphire and Prince Diamond, or Mamoru. Create a hub world that allows you to select between the main senshi and the occasional guest character. Maybe make them melee fighting mirror the ballet like fighting from the live action series. Blue Reflection would never
I remember playing Another Story back in the day on ZSNES. I'm a huge Sailor Moon fan so it was right up my alley and I would call it the best Sailor Moon game that was made. It was like a greatest hits of everything Sailor Moon up to that point. I do remember how unbalanced it was though, lol. I remember Nabu handed my ass to me so I went and got a couple of levels and then I destroyed her.
I also first played it on the zsnes emulator with the original translation patch years ago. It blew my mind because I was both a sailor moon and jrpg fan. But yeah, it's super unbalanced lol. Thankfully, I've played it enough to understand its weird mechanics. I think I've beaten it like 3 times now lol.
I played the RPG and enjoyed it. A few years ago, I met a team of Sailor Senshi cosplayers. They asked what they might do in the future. I suggested they look into the Opposito Senshi. I don't know if anyone ever tried it. They found the idea interesting.
Have you played Sailor Moon Another Story? If not, do you plan to?
I've played it three times. Once at my best friend's house and twice on my Retrocade
I have never understood why we have never got a new sailor moon JRPG. The lore is rich enough to make a good one imo

I actually watched Tenkoman/Tekkaman Blade and Starblazers before my family had Cartoon network. I loved Toonami once I had it though;

It would be cool to see someone cosplay as the opposito senshi! Makes me wonder if people would understand the reference lol.
@@smallspritetv I suppose a tiny number would. If not, someone would think "Wow, Sailor Senshi get evil twins? Cool!"
