I'm with you on Tonsens Kid Buu if he didn't explode every time I went to pose him. Also the leg articulation didn't go far enough. Jada on the other hand makes me believe in proper budget/ strongly articulated figures

That #1 was the most unexpected ever. I thought the SHF 2b was good, but not "#1 on a top 10 of 2024 list". Interesting to see something different from the usual picks. Also, I know you're over Frieza by now, but I still, still, still want a final form Frieza renewal because that's by far my favorite look for him, and it's the one that's way outdated. Even with "how well it's held up" (this claim feels like a cliché by now) it's still dismal when you compare him all the modern Frieza releases. Thanks for the video. Was good to see your takes on each of these figures, and as always the posing segments are great.
Thanks, #1 surprised me too! Had to trust the math a bit, but she's been such a cool and uniquely aerial figure. Didn't go into it much, but I'm not used to reviewing stands, mostly because I don't like waist clips. So the back peg hole and stand are a winning combo here, nice and easy to balance. And I get you with updated Frieza 4. Some things I like about the 1.0 are the reasonable head size and no nonsense tail, but I think the sculpt and feel could be better. If they updated him, I probably wouldn't flip a table unless he has a goofy big head or comes before Cell 😆

So for number 10 I would have given it to M. Bison. I get bias plays a huge part in every top 10 list, but in terms of QC and the Droidika seeming like a loose mess, M. Bison, I feel, should be 10. But a solid list and 2B is one figure I've been trying to get hold of just other figures have been higher on my want list so I should get her before she sells out.
It was super close! Droideka scored some points for ambition, effort, and design complexity, and despite the loose qc, still does what I need it to. M Bison is totally solid, just more standard and not quite as groundbreaking.
Darkstalkers Morrigan figure just disappeared from all shops as a pre order even their own online shop. You are very lucky to have that figure. Looks like they gave up on that line just like MK
I Think SHFiguarts Will Make More NieR Figures, A2, Devola And Popola, And Adam And Eve. I think it will be more interesting if we get more figures from this line.
So crazy how Super Android 17 is in the top 10 for many in 2024, while all of Europe still has to wait until February/March 2025 for the figure's release... we even still have to wait for GT Trunks here.

I'm glad people's caterwauling about the height (that wasn't consistent in any way in the actual source material) didn't manage to kneecap what was actually a really good figure.
Tbh, lowkey worried how wide the gap is between 3p and SHF this year, and it seems totally self-inflicted on SHF's part.. Which 3rd party fig was your favorite?
@@TheArtOfActionFigures it's definitely the Tonsenart Trunks, I got all 4 version of them, but I replace the head with AIR Studio Hair Sculpt and SHF Boy from the Future Facesculpt, to make it look like the Bojack Unbound Trunks.

BBTS still has her up for preorder if that's an option. I think they're the official Storm retailer, at least in the US.
