This was once used as a nightclub and those booths weren’t there, heaving every weekend with queues all the way down the street. This was the spot in 2007-2009. Then it changed back to a strip club and it never lasted long.
Before it was Scarlets it use to be a daytime rave club called Shaft use to open at 8am till 6pm every Sunday morning for the ravers who wanted to stay out all night/day went many of weekends use to be amazing in the garden outside many people of there noggin tho even got pictures of me in the garden many of years ago 😜

I discovered urbex after I went in the old st Joseph’s hospital in Preston last summer and wanted to find more out about the place and found all these urbex channels and it’s basically what we used to do back in the day scouting for venues for warehouse partys and raves etc finding the venue and getting inside was always the most fun. I’d love to find more locations in my area. Are they’re any groups or communities in the north west I can join to learn more about urbex? Also I was looking at those oil rigs last summer camped near by and you’re insane. 🤣
Its easy to make contact with people but in my experience thsi works nbest when your small and unknown in Urbex... however if you want to get in with bigger Urbex people on youtube and forums you will need to have a presence of material. A portfolio of your stuff so people know you are not a freeloader etc etc. Check out ALW exploration for stuff up North. He can probably put you on the right tracks with up north... Or do you have a specific geo area in mind?

@@nathanevans1440 Go to New Street Station. That's where the Royal Mail tunnel starts (just below the platforms.) The other end is filled in as far as I know; it's where "The Mailbox" is now (formerly the Main Post Office sorting office.)
@@cyberdonblue4413 It's not filled in .... there is access from within the Mailbox but it is usually very secure. But it runs from there right up to the platforms (that end is security-gated off)
Usually anyone becoming shocked at seeing one of their stage shows cannot complain and get a bug-up-the-@$$, when the management can unbadge any police that object as if the State Dept. of Revenue has given them a Cabarette license and no one can complain.
Scarlets was a beautiful pub before it was trashed by Scarlets bar (few shootings and if i remember correctly a lot of gang members used it) I'm sure that it was called the white horse previously. I remember years ago late 70s early 80s i had a friend who lived above the pub.
I drank in there regularly. It was formerly "The White Lion" before Scarletts destroyed it - part of the Davenports chain. It was a very popular pub with people who would later in the evening be heading for the Dome night club across the road. They also had quite a popular "student night" on Monday nights. Very sad to see it in such poor shape now.
